Kumo Sushi

After reading favorable reviews for Kumo, we tried this the other night and were very happy with the results. We are fairly picky sashimi-oriented eaters and few sushi places have a complete selection that passes the freshness and flavor measuring sticks (Shibuya in Calabasas is one, however). Although I like the monkfish liver at Tomodachi, Kumo serves a much cleaner and natural tasting menu amidst a more comfortable setting. Although there wasn't a signature item with a ""wow"" factor, Kumo is up to the task for those looking for a good sashimi fare. Pros: what I expect from sashimi more

I love KUMO SUSHI! it's a great place with a great view and services. The food is tasty and fresh! Once you tried it you will feel that freshness of those fish melting in your mouth! It the best! Lunch special is great you get a tasty of miso soup and a healthy salad with your meal. NOt just that you also get white or brown rice with the meal. it a great price for that much food. The sushi is just the best! The service is very good...with a friendliness of a sushi cheif always smiling and with a great mood while making that great sushi for us! The server also great! Everything is just great! it is a good atmosphere to have dinner and/or lunch with your love one. I'll difinitely stop by there again and bring you more people! I love kumo sushi it was great like a special toro and live scallop we got some special roll westlake roll it so good price it just right and service it good with a little water fall at the front door it very nice place to go try it you will love it Pros: best sushi great service more

I have eaten at what many would consider to be the best sushi restaurants in Southern California, and can honestly say that there is nowhere else I would rather go for fresh fish. They have a very well-balanced menu, which consists of a many salads, hot and cold appetizers, special rolls (which you can have made with brown rice), and of course a variety of beautiful fish.
