After reading favorable reviews for Kumo, we tried this the other night and were very happy with the results. We are fairly picky sashimi-oriented eaters and few sushi places have a complete selection that passes the freshness and flavor measuring sticks (Shibuya in Calabasas is one, however). Although I like the monkfish liver at Tomodachi, Kumo serves a much cleaner and natural tasting menu amidst a more comfortable setting. Although there wasn't a signature item with a ""wow"" factor, Kumo is up to the task for those looking for a good sashimi fare.
