Ede is the most amazing Midwife! She delivered all 3 of my children. Never once did she leave my side and was able to talk me through all my births without using any pain meds or epidural. She rubbed my back and even stayed in the bathroom with me when I wasn't feeling good. I had bad pregnancy sickness, morning and night. She even held my puke bucket for me. I could never see a OB doing that for their patient. She is wonderful. If you had a bad experience with her you probably weren't good to her. She is human and treats you the same way you treat her. She doesn't act like she is better then you. Always treated myself and family with respect at all times and always answered all of our questions. She is always happy and seems to really enjoy her profession. more

In my opinion she is an extremely poor excuse of a midwife. I have five beautiful children. She was not my midwife but was the one on call when I went in to have my son. She ignored all signs of problems. Refused to listen to me when I told her I felt something was wrong. My third child was delivered at home by an amazing midwife so I asked her if I could labor the same and she said I could...LIE. I was pushed around by her the whole time. When it came time to deliver she was yelling at me telling me I was not breathing correctly or pushing hard enough. She literally told me I was going to kill my child. After pushing for what seemed forever Doctor Wonderly came in and took me for an emergency c section. Thank God for him..he saved my sons life. The cord was wrapped around his neck and when I would push he would bungy back up. There was no way to safely deliver him without the doctors. Help. Again. Please look at other options I can not believe this woman still has a job. more

I saw Ede during the last part of my third pregnancy. I transferred to her practice when I was unsatisfied with the impersonal care I was receiving with another practice in town. My pregnancy had been normal with no complications, but she patiently addressed all the questions and concerns my husband I had. I felt like she really understood what kind of delivery we would like. Throughout the rest of my pregnancy she continued that same great standard of care, always spending as much time with us as we needed. She welcomed our other children in the exam room and made them feel welcome and special too. When I went into labor, she arrived at the hospital not long after we did. I really did not want any medicine and she sat with us during my long labor, offering tons of support and encouragement. My husband was concerned because it seemed to be taking a long time, but she reassured him and answered all his questions. Thanks to her dedication I had a beautiful delivery and healthy baby. We couldn't have done it without her. I recommend her to all my friends and will be using her again! more

When I went to the hospital with pre-term contractions in my 24th week, she didn't even come in and check me, left it to a nurse who admittedly didn't know what was going on with me to cause the contractions. In my opinion, the midwife should have at least come in and talked to me herself rather than handling it over the phone and then sending me home still contracting and with no idea why. They're fortunate some of my friends online were able to figure out what was going on - from talking to me and asking questions! - and things didn't end much worse for myself and my son. I was unfortunate enough to run across her again when rushed to the hospital losing blood just before my due date. She thought that an appropriate time to argue with me over trivial things while I'm laying there scared out of my mind and they haven't been able to find my son's heartbeat yet to even determine if he's still alive in there. I refused to engage in the argument, and a few moments later she was having a different argument with a tech who came in, again over something not at all necessary to have out right then when she should have been paying attention to the patient and the emergency at hand. Nurses discovered that the bleeding wasn't labor and I was promptly turned over to another doctor - thank god! My son and I survived, but I really can't credit her with that. If it was possible to give her less than one star, I would. more
