Pure Thai massage 6/9/2010

San Rafael, CA 5 star rating 5/30/2010 Kinnaree Thai Massage, I have tried many people who practice massage, but Kinnaree to me is pure Thai massage, I met Sonja & Tom when they started working at Traditional Thai Massage in Mill valley. I followed them when they opened Kinnaree. Sonja is the best...with her hands, feet and arms she just knows what to do and Tom is incredible. Actually, the whole staff are amazing they have distinctive differences, but they stay within the parameters and spirit of Thai Massage. I recently read the definition of Kinnaree and if anyone encapsulated that image it would be the therapist Yuri... my days are chaotic and she probably does not understand what it means to me when I walk through that door. Maybe this will help explain.... Silky her body, pressed against mine, Though I breath into the flat mattress, she is messing with my feet, when I glanced back her eyes are closed and her hands like a pyramid between her heart and lips, the purity and prayer in the silence her eyes opened in pleasure, like chocolate waiting to be tasted. I dream between the waves of love and waves of beauty, like a fallen leaf both caress me. Slowly she surrounds me, like blunt spears pushing till I sigh, the incense of lemon grass its sap is spread softly on my skin, her fingers touch me creating words in the chaotic silence of a man, she opens the empty paper pages of my untold story, and I let her, absorbing the tension in my body, I let her, and she pulls inside not the pleasure, but the silence. I look at the barrier separating the sky, her eyes look neither at me nor through me, she appears like a painting. I turn over, I inhale the jasmine scent between her stomach and neck, the phone rings the silence is broken, the painting on my wall, I pass it every day and once in a while I stop, and stare at the beauty of color, the beauty of black and white, the beauty of old and new. Pros: setting -rooms are very comfortable Cons: A two hour massage goes too quickly more

As real as it gets 5/22/2008

I have spent alot of time in thailand training in Muay thai. After a long training day I would often get a thai massage to soothe all my bruises and pains of getting my a** beaten all day. I could never find a legit thai massage place here in the bay area...till I found Kinnaree. This place is great...very soothing and authentic atmosphere. You have your own cozy little massage room with comfortable mats and curtains. The therapists are great. An all thai staff that were traditionally taught in thai massage. You can't go wrong here!! Pros: Will really heal your pains Cons: Nada more

Kinnaree: Partners in your healing process 2/28/2008

My first massage at Kinnaree was so effective that I feel I wasted my money at every other massage and physical therapy clinic I've been to. Thai massage is very different from the swedish and deep tissue massages I used to get. You lie down on a comfortable, heated mattress instead of a clinical massage table. They use their hands, feet, arms, and legs to gently stretch all of your tight muscles. The first time it can be uncomfortable, but that's because it's actually working on muscles you never knew you had! They'll give you a soothing massage if you ask for it, but their traditional techniques are meant for therapy. I felt fit and rejuvenated after the first massage, helping heal damage from 20 years of rigorous Army life. Kinnaree's environment is quiet and relaxing with soft red toned decorations, wood panelling, pleasant smells, and soothing traditional thai meditative music. Thai massage feels like the therapist is a partner in your healing rather than a person providing a service. At $1 a minute, you can get an amazing 2 hour session for the same price you'd pay for 1 or 1.5 hours someplace else. Parking is easy to find. There are many places closer to me, but Kinnaree is well worth my drive to Mill Valley. I'm recommending them to everyone because I want this business to thrive so I can keep going back. Pros: Most effective massage ever, comfortable and relaxing environment Cons: Must drive there from San Francisco, but only 15 minutes and well worth it more
