Staying Healthy and Informed. 11/16/2011

I really Sean, he is a physical therapist who really cares about your rehabilitation process. He makes you feel like you are his only client. I have learned so much from him about my body and how to care for it. Thank you Sean and Kinetic for being there to educate me and anybody who wants to know how to stay active and healthy. more

Kinetic Sports Rehab center helping me get my life back 9/24/2011

I have had sciatica for most of my life, it is so painful sometimes I lay in my bed all day. I believe this has brought on depression. After speaking with a therapist I was referred to Kinetic Sports Rehab for physical rehab. Thank you so much for helping my pain decrease and I am not feeling depressed anymore! more

Best sports injury clinic 8/14/2011

I have had physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage therapy but I have never been happier with the care I have received since my experience at Kinetic Sport Rehab. The staff was awesome and felt I was in truly capable hands. Dr. D explained to me why I was experiencing back pain and educated me on proper back injury prevention. It was the first time in months that I felt good again. I would recommend Kinetic Sports Rehab to anyone. more

The Google of the PT world! 5/26/2011

I initially visited Kinetic Sports Rehab for my shoulder. I was referred by my son who also went there for his shoulder and could not say enough about the place. When I first walked into the clinic I was blown away because I was expecting to walk into a medical clinic; you know, sterile with the doctors in white coats and stethoscope around their necks. Even through there wasn't that sterile ambiance, I was pleasantly surprised to walk in to a warm, colorful and inviting atmosphere. I was treated by a super kind and knowledgeable physician named Dr. Eric DeRoche. In addition to seeing Dr. DeRoche, I also worked with a trainer named Sean Masters who was able to tell me EXACTLY what was going on functionally with my body to compensate for my injury and helped me strengthen my weak muscles as well as relax my tight, overactive ones. Needless to say, I was very impressed by both Dr. DeRoche and Sean. \r \r I mention that Kinetic Sports Rehab is like the Google of the PT world because they are so unconventional in their approach. They seem so innovative with how they treat their patients. Furthermore, not only are they incredibly knowledgable, they make you feel welcome and a part their family, which is one of many reasons why I would highly recommend them to anyone.\r more

Finally Relief 5/3/2011

About a month ago I was struck with severe back, hip and upper leg pain on my left side. It as so painful that I could hardly walk or stand. My activity level went from 10 to 1 at best. After trying various treatments I was referred to Kinetic Sports Rehab. I've received two weeks of treatment and have improved to an 8.\r \r The staff at Kinetic is outstanding. Dr. DeRock, Sean and Hillary make you feel like family. They are all so grounded and friendly. The decor is very warm and comfortable.\r \r I would recommend them highly for treatment of your aches and pains.\r more

A Swift Recovery 4/19/2011

I'm a rower and was training for the San Diego Crew Classic. One day I got out of the boat and literally could not stand up. I was stuck at the waste and was walking bent over. I tried all the traditional things: ice, massage, chiropractic, PT but nothing worked. I couldn't walk, let alone row.\r \r The culprit was my Psoas...I didn't even know I had one. After 4 treatments from Dr. DeRoch and team I was back in the boat and a week later racing in sunny San Diego. They had adressed the acute phase.\r \r I'm on the mend and am working with them to prevent the problem from happening again.\r \r Thanks Hilary, Sean and Dr. DeRoche. more

Professional, knowledgable - a great place! 3/11/2011

I have been going to Kinetic Sports Rehab for a couple of months now for a lower back injury and IT Band issues. Dr. DeRoche's approach to treating my injuries through Active Release Therapy and soft tissue treatment have been instrumental in my recovery and rehab. The treatment is two fold in that you not only get treated by Dr DeRoche but also see an incredibly knowledgable physical therapist/trainer, Sean, in the same session. Sean has a functional training approach and has been great in working with me on my mobility, flexibility, and core strength. I have seen a marked improvement in a short amount of time and have Kinetic Sports Therapy to thank for it; highly recommended! more
