Kidz R Play

The owner ""Flor"" is completely unprofessional and a straight up liar! We rented 2 rooms at Kidz@Play (there are only 3 total) She over-booked and had a party (which she later claimed wasn't an actual party- the pizza, sodas, cake and goodie bags fooled me!) in the common area where the parents of kids at my son's birthday were standing to be able to watch their kids, that common area is about a 10 foot area between a few arcade games and the jungle gym, so my party had to pass another party just to get from one to the other. Then kids from the other party were taking drinks and snacks from mine and going into my private room to sit. Over all it was an absolute mess and I'm sure a safety & fire hazard. She also added a charge of $143 for 2 trays of fried food which she said would be free.The owner was just completely rude when I confronted her about it and at the end came out with a ridiculous bill which was nothing like we had agreed to. She wouldn't even give me a copy of the contract she had (which was different from mine) or any sort of itemized receipt. more

The place has a lot of hidden charges. Plus the owner and the party helper were very unprofessional. Their oven was broken on the day of the party. This was very understandable. But the owner (Flor i think) would not make any attempts to order food from outside and also when I told her I had 15 hungry kids waiting and I needed food fast, she was very reluctant to order out pizzas and tried to be cheap by ordering double sliced pizzas for the kids.They try to cut cost everywhere (like promising the birthday child a goodie bag but not giving one, using the customer bought paper goods instead of the ones they are supposed to provide.) and it shows. The whole affair was very unpleasant. Definitely would not recommend this place. more
