Kids Kuts

I also disagree with the bad reviews of Cindy. I took my daughter there for her first haircut 2 years ago and Cindy cut her hair. She was so nice, my daughter loved her and she did a great job. more

Kids Kuts is a great place for kids. I take my daughter there and it's the only place I'll take her. She has very thick and long hair and it's not easy to cut, but any of the girls there do a great job. I walked in there 25 minutes before closing yesterday and needed a wash and bigger cut than usual. They normally don't take customers that late but were more than happy to help me. It's a tough job to cut kids hair, so if they correct your kid...get over it if you want a decent cut. more

Went to this place. They did a good job. No better - worse than any other place. One complaint is that they do not take appointments, and it is cash only. If I have to pay taxes, they should too! It is difficult for people with little kids to run out and get money and there is not an ATM in the shopping mall. more

I walked in with my son for the first time last week, and I was handled Like an customer would be, I don't quite understand why there are bad reviews, I understand the customer comes first policy but if the phone rings someone has to answer it. Anywho, I got the hairdress with the red curly hair (I think her name is Ro, not sure) but she is very quick and yet precise at the same time which makes her good. I think shes one of the managers since i hear shes in all the time, but great place and great employee. If you don't like it here then no one said you had to come, I would definitly recommned this facility to those that want their child's hair done. more

I recently found this place after many bad experiences at salons. I absolutly love Mary, I find that crying, moving kids do not bother her at all. I request her everytime we go. I will have to agree however that Cindy with the short spiky hair and dangerously long fingernails is not suited to be working in a place like this. She does take the time with the kids and is abrasive. With all of the reviews above, I am dumbfounded why the owners haven't canned her yet! Request Mary, she is the best! more

Lady you are kidding me! She is so nice. I have been taking my son there for over two years. I have never heard her to be rude to my son or anyone else. The truth is that they do not want to cut anyone at all. If your child moves their head there is aways the possibility of a cut happening. more

I would like to take the time to tell you about my experience at K IDS KUTS ( MARPLE CROSSROADS SHOPPING CENTER ) I have been going there for 6 years, my daughter is 6 and my son is 3. I can't tell you enough about those wonderful girls RO,MARY,SHARON AND CINDY. They are pleasant, caring, and go above and beyond to make our children have a no tears experience and feel comfortable when getting their hair cut. SO I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE REVIEWS DATED 4/20/08 AND 5/28/08. Considering I am a former hair stylist of a adult salon. I can not imagine cutting moving targets. WHAT A HARD JOB. Amazingly,with that how they stay so calm. So my heart goes out to those stylists and owner, who were VOTED BEST OF DELCO 2006 and 2007. YOU GO and keep up the AWESOME JOB. more

I just have to say that I was at Kids Kuts today and my son recevied a wonderful hair cut. I definately recommend Kids Kuts to anyone with children, I think that they are great and have lots of patience for kids. more

Although this place looks like it will be great for kids, the staff leaves a lot to be desired. I went there today with a 2 and a 4 year old. While the 4 year old was in the chair, "Miss Mary" left to take a phone call. She didn't ask if this would be a problem, she just wandered away. She was gone for less than 10 minutes, but with two crying toddlers, this is an eternity. I was very unimpressed, and doubt I will go back. more

I agree with the below posting. Cindy her name is with the short spiky hair and long nails is very rude and harsh with children and the owner does not even do anything about it! I am writing the franchise over this. Cindy yelled at my daughter and told her if she kept moving she would get cut and now my daughter is scared to death to get her hair cut for fear of being cut by sharp scissors. Way to go Cindy, you have a real knack for kids! Go work at a smoky bar where you belong! more

It is unfortunate for the hard working, kind hearted members of the staff that they are working with the likes of the "stylist" we saw this weekend. My 4 year old was called to have her hair trimmed and then sat waiting while the woman spoke with her cousin for over 10 minutes. She then gave my daughter unclear instructions for where to look and yelled at her when she did not do as she wanted. Her bangs were cut much shorter than I asked but I was unable to see until they were finished because she made me stand behind her holding her head. This is the first time I have returned this establishment in over two years because this happened the last time we went. The last time the "stylist" ignored me and my specific instructions to gossip to friend while she took it upon herself to cut over 2 inches from my daughters hair days before she was to be the flower girl in her uncle's wedding. I recently took my two girls to Kid's Kuts in Springfield, PA.\r We've had bad experiences at other hair cutting establishments and my daughters were quite nervous, as was I ,at entering a new shop, but our fears were quickly put at ease when a friendly stylist named Mary put my girls at ease with her charm and sense of humor. Her "down-to-earth attitude relaxed my daughters (as well as myself) and the haircuts were flawless. I definately recommend Kids Kuts to anyone with children, and although I have never had another stylist, I have observed them and would definately recommend to anyone that they request Mary.\r Her way with children is unbelievable! more

This place is great for my four year old. My little boy was terrified of haircuts until we found this place. They are very sensitive and patient and always do a great job. We go every couple of months, and he always looks forward to sitting on the animals and watching cartoons. He never cries, gets a lollipop when we're all done. The wait can be frustrating though. I haven't been there when there hasn't been a line yet. PROS: Sensitive, caring, great job! CONS: Long waits, a little pricey for a little kid's cut. more

They do a great job on little kids' hair. They play cartoons and have animals for the kids to sit on while they are being trimmed. One of the stylists has extremely bad breath. Ro is the best stylist there and you'll get a great cut for a little boy from her. $8 for under 2, butthen goes up to $12 for over 2 years old. more

We bring my two little boys here to get their haircuts and the staff really does a tremendous job under what must be stressful work conditions (what with crying children, etc.). They do their best to make kids feel comfortable and the television sets in front of the kids are always tuned in to cartoon shows (Thomas, Dora, Bob the Builder, etc). to help make the kids feel comfortable, distract their attention. The barber seats (styled after merry-go-round horses, etc are also a nice touch that makes kids eager to climb into the seat. A great place. Can't recommend enough! more
