Editorial review from Citysearch 7/19/2012

This school goes above and beyond what I expected before I signed up. They offer more than 6 -2hour topics and you can pick whichever 6 you want to get credit for BUT they also let you watch more videos as many times as you would like to brush up on other topics for a year (ithink). Definitely worth it and reccommend them. Also has a referral system where they pay me for people I refer. The referral system already paid for my tuition and i sent my referral link out to 6 people. Overall great, 2 thumbs up. they're offering a summer $55 special too and i dont know when the special ends but the school is worth $100 if they charged it. more

Michael, the instructor is very 6/6/2012

Michael, the instructor is very professional and knowledgable about all of the topics he talks about. He brings a lot of good stories out from times when he has had a personal experience with whatever topic he is discussing. He covers a lot of material in each 2 hour course but it doesn't feel anythin close to overwhelming. I liked that they offered 7 different modules for me to watch and if I wanted I could watch all 7 even though I only needed 6. I own a property management company and plan on requiring my employees to watch these videos as well. more

Continuing ed is continuing ed... what do you expect? 4/26/2012

I think everyone dreads completing any required ce hours every few years so irregardless how great or terrible the program is, I think we all go in with a pissed off attitude. Agents like myself hated going in to hotel conference rooms and ugly schools to sit on uncomfortable chairs at some place on Main street so the convenience of doing it online is really nice. Like the agent who made the comment below ""cheapest for a reason"", the instructor is very good. The prompting every 10 or 15 minutes to make sure we're still there does get annoying but even in their ""are you still there"" message they apologize for having to do it because it's a state board of professional licensure requirement for all online schools. Basically, I didn't really know what I would be looking at when I signed up for the class and it turned out to be mostly the instructor on the screen. It wasn't a big deal for me because I would play the video, open up other work and do that at the saame time as listening. The instructor definitely sounds like Mike Rowe and is a pleasure to listen to. I don't think of myself as one of the brightest bulbs but a lot of the material wasn't new to me. There was some new good/interesting material but mostly review which I guess is the reason we take the course? I have already recomended the course to my co-workers because out of all the options available I think this is the best especially for the price point. more

Cheapest for a reason 3/28/2012

Keepmecertifed is the cheapest for a reason. You know the guy in the video you see on the main page? Get ready to stare at him and his scruffy beard in front of a blank screen for 12 hours. They wanted to be sure you heard every word from his Mike Rowe-like velvety pipes, so they didn't bother with a single shred of illustration on the screen with him. This is literally a guy sitting on a stool talking at you in front of a blank screen. For 12 hours. Oh and don't get taken by the LIE in the teaser video. You DO get prodded to see if you are there or not. EVERY 10 MINUTES you have to hit a key to continue the video. If you thought you were going to just let the video play for two or three hours at a time. Think again. I hate to say it, but video CE is going to make real estate agents even dumber than they already are. It's too bad, because the instructor is a pretty sharp dude. more

Best customer service EVER 1/31/2012

I'm not a young tech geek and I've had my share of phone calls and email conversations with tech support and let me tell you, I've never had such awesome help. I literally emailed them and 30 seconds later I got an automated email back telling me that they were working on the issue. No more than 2 minutes later I got an email from the owner of the school who sent me the exact instructions that I needed. Three days later I was watching a video at 9:15pm and my internet connection dropped only a minute or 2 from the end of the video. I was worried I wasn't going to get credit for the video I was watching so I emailed their support email and they got back to me within minutes to tell me that their system recorded the time when my internet connection dropped and that I would get credit. It's hard to find good help but I feel like keep me certified really goes up above and beyond what most everyone expects. more

Most enjoyable and easy continuing ed I've done 1/31/2012

Keep Me Certified is an awesome school. They site is easy to use and the instructor is actually enjoyable to listen to. I watched a colleague in my office take his continuing ed at his desk with another online school and he told me to look for another course online if I had the opportunity. That's exactly what I did. I got a postcard in the mail from a few different places and checked all of them out. Keep Me Certified had the lowest price course and it was still the easiest and fastest course to take, and the instructor has an amazing voice that I could listen to all day. The instructor for the course is on the homepage so you can see and listen to him for yourself. more
