Kaya has to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Everyone of my friends I've introduced to it has gotten hooked. Its a locals place, and the friendly staff seems to know all the customers. The variety is unbelievable. Vegetarian? Check. Low Carb? There's an entire section of low carb rolls! The Korean food is excellent as well. The spicy Seafood Tofu Soon soup, served bubbling in a hot stone pot and overflowing with clams, oysters, calamari, and other fresh fish, is to die for. Also, despite what City Search says here, they are not open for lunch or on Sundays. But they do get busy, so go early! And -- very importantly -- this is NOT a place for kids!
Pros: Freshness, Variety, Authentic
Cons: Busy, Closed Sundays, Crowded Parking Lot
