I am amused by the very few positive posts on this web site. I was in the office the other day and was told by the staff ( dont want to say which property due to reprisal ) that the staff are encouraged to write possitive feedback to counter all the negative PR found everywhere for this truely horrible landlord... Do your homework.. These guys are the worst.. Dont believe me? Check BBB Rating = F . check all the detailed feedback.. all terrible.. Sure some of Katz employees are nice prople doing their best with terrrible management and terrible owners. These guys have huge vacancy. The only people renting from them are people who dont research. With 20% and growing vacancy its only a matter of time until the properties will be going section 8.. Seriously dont be fooled. There is only disapointment and frustration with Katz. All this is of course my opinion but you are warned.. more

Personally, you helped me personalize my apartment over the last 4 months with an updated kitchen, bathroom, carpeting cleaning and new paint on my walls. I couldn't be happier too! THANK YOU! more

Bravo to you all, your time, effort, talent, energy and fortitude do not go unnoticed. I do hope Daniel Katz is aware of this, and the sensational staff he has managing this property, it's not to be taken lightly because you all are the motion that runs a beautiful property. more

I think the reviews here are knee-jerk reactions to new ownership. I lived at Prospect Towers for just over two years and it was a pleasant experience. Yes, when Katz took over they raised my rent about 13%, but they also repaired the entire roof of the building, bought brand new gym equipment, are currently renovating the hallways, and have plans to renovate the pool area. \r As far as staffing goes, Crystal is still there and she has always been very pleasant and really helpful to me.\r Whoever posted that there are no amenities to speak of is just plain lying. An underground, heated parking spot is included in the rent. Heat is still included in the rent (do you know how much money that is saving you in the winter months???) The pool area is nice. The fitness center is decent. All in all, it's a pretty nice place. \r Also, I never once had a problem with noise.\r I do not like Katz. I've lived in Katz properties before and have had some bad experiences, but I think the ranting here against them is simply due to the fact that people can't handle change. Other than raising the rent, I don't think they've done anything to warrant a bad review. And the building has always been a nice place to live. Compare the price/amenities/location/size of these apartments to others in the area, and you'll see that they are good competitors.\r I only moved out because I moved out of state. more

Staff is very obliging and helpful. Very happy that I moved to this location. Facilities are great! Moved from a big old house of 46 yrs to a lovely apartment - has everything I need! more

Views, pool, outstanding management with same day completion of maintenance tasks... underground parking in the winter which was a godsend in milwaukee. Quiet, classy and the amenities really made this place. I've heard there have been renovations since I was last there too. I was proud to call this place home. more

I have lived in the towers for over a year and have found the manager to be quite friendly and helpful. I have lived in nicer places but the location and the price are why I love it here. I am currenlty looking for something larger to get some roomies and the manager has gone above and beyond to work out the details. I have seen some of these reviews while searching for another place and can only assume people love to complain. I for one am very happy with them and will continue to rent from them. My experience was positive and included fast response to maintenance issues, efficient office staff, quick snow removal and superb assistance with moving in. The views are nice and location is great but it's the extra help and effort of the manager who made my experience so wonderful. Thank you! more

The maintenance and management staff has been unprofessional, lazy and unreliable. Prior to our move in date we completed a walk through of the premises with the on site manager who verbally agreed to the maintenance that had to be done. The move in date came and went and the maintenance was not done. We began cleaning of the apartment immediately and this took well over two weeks. The only cleaning and maintenance that had been done after the previous renters moved out was a vacuum job and painting. All wood frames and plastic fixtures on the wall have paint splattered and wiped all over. The vents were FILTHY. They had been painted over multiple times, they were bent, some would not open or close and they were coated with dust and animal hair. I had to shampoo the upstairs carpet once and the downstairs carpet twice. The blinds were so dirty they looked manila colored and after scrubbing them, it turned out they are white. None of our screens were replaced until mid way though October. The windows are supposed to click in place and remain open when opened, but they slide down. The onsite manager told us he has been waiting for his windows to be fixed since he moved in. So it would probably be something we would just have to deal with. The new maintenance person sent in after I was finally able to track down the maintenance supervisor told me to prop them up. The kitchen floor was peeling up. Again, something the on site manager was to have fixed prior to our moving in. Midway through October he simply glued down the floor, which he said he was told to do by his boss. As for the vents, the on site manager said he was told by his boss that he could replace them and should paint over them. He went to the store, according to him against his supervisor more

Security deposit of $50 for garage opener was not returned to me despite returning it in an excellent condition. They do not give receipts for certain payments. I was told that the garage opener was like receipt and that returning it would allow me to get this deposit back. more
