DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MONEY TRAP BUSINESS!! 8/20/2022

One star is even too high of a rating for Kading. I have never had this bad of a landlord... EVER. When I moved in several things didn't work (heaters, stove top burners, paint was peeling) and when I called to let them know, they never came and fixed ANY of it in the two years that I lived there. I had to go out and buy an electric fireplace in order to stay warm in the winter (which is ABSURD). Then, when I moved out they kept my entire deposit and still made me pay $150 on top of that for them to "clean" and "paint" the entire house. I cleaned the house before I moved out and it looked a lot better than when I moved in. I also don't know how they decide when they are going to paint the house (or if they even did) but somehow I got stuck with that bill when it wasn't even painted when I moved in. I would NOT RECOMMEND renting or doing ANY business with Kading Properties. If I could give zero or negative stars I 100% would. I am not writing this for my benefit at all and just don't want other people to get caught in Kading's MONEY TRAP. more

Altoona location 2/11/2022

I stayed for 2 years and paid my rent on time. When I moved out they took my whole deposit and charged me a additional 500 on top of that. They even charged me for stuff I put on the move in inspection. When I moved in the apartment was filthy and everything was old. I guess I paid for the improvements they made for the next person when I moved. I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person. more

Kading Properties is a wonderful company to rent from. Their rent is reasonable, and the rentals are very well kept and nice. The employees are always so helpful when we need help, and were easy to work with to get things moving. Another plus is that they are pet friendly! more

Great company 5/27/2019

I started renting from kading in july 2017. They helped make sure i could secure another property when i moved to another area. I wasnt expecting as much of my deposit back when i moved but they were honest. Also every maintenance req was fulfilled right away. They do care about their properties and even the families living there. (Hence the crazy speed bumps). It is unfortunate that certain families can be allowed being as they are not good for other communities with kids but they are at least willing to work with people. 5 star coming if my utilities go down :) more

Do not rent 3/17/2019

I was a two year tenant and was in good standing on my rent. Followed all the rules of the lease. I cat sit for a friend who was moving and my neighbor complained, who had a dog that was far past the size of the weight limit and owners didn’t care, had 24 hour inspection, explained the cat sitting situation, was told I still had to pay pet deposit PER CAT even though they were only there for four days. I refused. Got served three days notice. Decided to leave. One and a half years later I get a letter from their lawyer saying I owe them $4,218.12. To the penny. They do this to every person who leaves their properties in the city I live in. Even did it to a friend who moved out and gave proper notice. Do not ever rent from them. I’m seeking legal counsel as soon as my lawyer opens Monday. Biggest mistake renting from them. Ever. more

Bad Landlords 12/20/2016

I will never rent from Kading properties ever again. They do not care about the tenants. They are so worried about how they can sucker you out of extra money each month. They allow anyone to move in and let people destroy the properties and do nothing. more
