A few months ago, I had a bridesmaid dress significantly altered at 'Just Alterations.' The 'Just Alterations' staff was friendly and very helpful in providing some options to ""make-it-work."" They did the alterations, and the dress fit 100% better. They also did two consultations with me, and were open to hearing feedback and making the necessary changes thereafter. I was definitely impressed. Recently, I had a pink stretchy dress altered and they did a fabulous job with the hem on such a stretchy fabric. They even pressed the dress without charging me. I would highly recommend 'Just Alterations.' Their prices are reasonable, and the end-result is exceptional. On top of that, they turned the dress around in less than 3 days! more

Having lost several sizes, I've been taking my suits and trousers to Just Alterations. I have been incredibly impressed with the results - not only do I not have to replace all of my work attire, but I receive loads of compliments on the perfect fit. While Just Alterations is expensive (which is why I affectionately call it ""Posh Alterations""), to date, I could not have replaced any of these articles of clothing for the price of the alterations. more

I have been a faithful customer of JA since 1996 when I had my first job interview suit altered. Since then, they've taken care of everything I wear! I'm a stickler on proper fit and their knowledgeable staff always make the best suggestions on what elements of a garment should be changed to give it the most tailored fit. They've made Prada, Gucci, Dior Homme, Alexander McQueen, and Balenciaga look like I had them all custom tailored for me! You can't find a better place- I will always be a loyal fan! more

I always go to them for any hemming needs as being 5'2"" will almost certainly need a lot of hemming in the pants/sleeves! As for just a button replacement etc, I'll still go to a dry cleaner for that type of service. The prices are a bit high at Just Alterations, but you get it done right. more

In spite of some of the less-than-stellar reviews I decided to take my coat here for to shorten the sleeves. I went because a work colleague had her wedding dress altered here and was very satisfied. I'm glad I did. Perhaps they read the reviews, but everyone was cordial and professional. They did a great job with the sleeve length, moved the buttons appropriately, and excellent sewing. I was very happy and would recommend this business. more

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING\r I was looking around yelp for a place to take my wedding dress to be altered. After seeing how many great reviews Just Alterations had I decided to check it out in person. I brought my dress with me and explained my problem:\r I've been living in the UK and came back home to CA for my wedding. I came home to find my dress was too small for my chest. I ended up having to re-order it one size bigger to accommodate my 32D chest but needed it taken in everywhere else, I wanted to make it a sweetheart neckline and needed it hemmed up a few inches. Oh yeah, and I needed it done in a week.\r LIZ was the woman helping us out and oh my god, she was a complete LIFESAVER. She knew exactly what to do, and how to make it fit like a glove. It took a couple trips in for fittings (the first one was for the bodice and top half of the dress, the second was for the hem, and the third was a final hem/all over check). It turned out PERFECT, I honestly couldn't have been happier. \r My dress originally cost me $150 so I wasn't really bothered by having to pay a lot to have it altered. Even after all the fees I was still WAY under the $800 dress budget my father had given me so he was a happy camper as well.\r I don't really get all these reviews that say they're snobby or only treat the ""nicely dressed customers well"" thing. The first time I came in I was in worn out jeans and Payless flip flops with a cheap wedding dress and they could've have been more helpful or kind. more

After my beautiful wedding gown was incorrectly altered by Lucy's Tailoring in Huntington Beach, I brought it here to see if there was anything they could do to fix it. Not only did the women at Just Alterations fix what the previous tailor had messed up, they suggested adding finishing touches that made my gown beautiful and truly one of a kind. With only a two weeks until my wedding day, these women worked overtime to fit me in. They were friendly, helpful, intelligent, and knew EXACTLY what to do to make my dress fit like a glove. I had a black sash added to my dress by the previous tailor and it looked awful. These women added some pleats and satin covered buttons and transformed the sash to a beautiful addition to my wedding dress. Everyone kept commenting on how amazing the sash looked. On my wedding day, I got RAVE REVIEWS on my gown! My friends and family were commenting on both its beauty and uniqueness. As far as prices go, they are COMPLETELY REASONABLE and do not overcharge for the work they put in. They make every penny totally worth it! The women at Just Alterations completely saved my wedding day! They are amazing women who I will forever be grateful for! more

In the past I had used my dry cleaners for alterations. It was awkward whenever I needed pants hemmed - they had this corner curtained off for a changing area. But it always seemed like people could possibly see me on the sides of the curtain that never closed all the way. Plus, there was no place to sit and take off my shoes and I had to try and take one off while balancing on the other foot. No prob when it was flats, but with boots, it's not so fun. Anyhow, I found Just Alterations in the Marketplace and all that has changed. They have a number of real dressing rooms with doors that shut all the way and chairs where you can sit while you change. The people who work the front desk are friendly and knowledgeable. I was amazed that they remembered my name after like the second time I went there - they just go in back and grab my stuff when they see me coming! Made me feel very special! Their work on my clothes has been really good. However, I have to caveat this by saying that my alterations are pretty normal things, such as shortening pants. But, I have seen many women in there getting bridal gowns & formal dresses altered. So, I would guess that they are capable of doing a great job on the complex stuff too. The one thing I have found is that their prices seem a bit on the high end. But, otherwise, I would highly recommend them. more

This place is amazing! I've changed so much of my wardrobe with their help and they've salvaged some cool stuff! I can't go anywhere else, they are the best that I've found in OC! The owner is a very nice woman who will fix a problem if it comes up. Highly recommend! more
