My friends and I went here to watch the football game. The bartender was very friendly and the $10 buckets were awesome! We had the $4.99 burger and fries and it was a great value! Definitely coming back! more

My family and I have dinner weekly at The Juke Joint. They have made staff changes over the last couple of months and service has definitely improved. They are also getting more involved with the public starting with their NY's Eve Fundraiser for the troops. more

AMBIANCE HORRENDOUS - STAFF PITIFULLY INCOMPETENT - FOOD ABSOLUTELY INEDIBLE AND LIKELY DANGEROUS TO THE HEALTH OF ANYONE WHO COULD MANAGE TO GET IT DOWN. This is not just your average everyday bar. The Juke Joint has a full restaurant menu with a separate eating area, 2 karaoke nights and Saturday night Beer pong tournament! Unfortunately, sometimes bad employees ruin the experience for some customers and it takes a while to get a good crew who work together and have great attitudes! The good news is they finally have that!!!! They have Happy hour specials from 3-6pm in the bar and daily lunch specials. The soups are all made from scratch and the chili is to die for. I USED TO COOK HERE FOR 11 MONTHS AND IVE NEVER HAD TO IMPROVISE IN SO MANY WAYS AND IGNORE ALOT OF HEALTH CODE VIOLATIONS.WHEN THE MANAGER(WHO HIRED ME) WAS HERE EVERYTHING WAS IN ORDER.BUT WHEN HE QUIT THE OWNERS, JEAN, WARREN, & THEIR KID ROSS DECIDED TO RUN THIS BAR THEY STARTED CUTTING BACK IN MANY WAYS THAT AFFECTED THE QUALITY AND SERVICE OF THE FOOD JUST TO SAVE NICKELS, EXAMPLE, THEY RE-USED THEIR CLEANING TOWELS FROM THE BAR AND RESTROOM-CHALKBOARD, FOR ME TO USE ON THE COOKING LINE I GOT INTO AN ARGUMENT OVER ME NOT WIILING TO RE-USE THE DIRTY TOWELS WHILE IM COOKING, AND THEY SUSPENDED ME FOR A DAY OVER ME HAVING A NASTY ATTITUDE (THAT WAS THEIR EXUSE)AND THEY KEPT THE CLEAN TOWELS IN THE OFFICE. THEN AFTER EVERY TIME THEY PAID THEIR HEALTH DEPARTMENT MONTHLY BILL, THEY WOULD CLEAN THE KITCHEN,JUST TO PASS INSPECTION BECAUSE THEY KNEW THAT THE HEALTH REGULATORS WOULD COME IN THAT SAME WEEK. THEIR IS ALSO A FAMILY OF SMALL RATS THAT ARE ALWAYS OUTSIDE IN THE BACK DUE TO A DIRTY STORAGE AREA THAT HAS ALOT OF HIDDENS SPOTS FOR INFESTATION.THE FOOD IS PRETTY BAD THEY HAVE SOUP SPECIALS WHERE THEY WILL SELL 1-2 A DAY AND RE-HEAT THE REST UNTILL ITS ALL GONE.AND IT WAS ALOT OF SOUP .IT WOULD USUALLY LAST ABOUT WEEK AND A HALF FOR THE SOUP TO BE GONE AND THEIR OTHER DAILY SPECIALS ARE A BUNCH OF OLD FOOD THAT IS ABOUT TO GO BAD BECAUSE THEY CANT SELL MUCH. this place is garbage their beer on tap is 1/2 beer and 1/2 foam their food is 40% grease in every bite , their 1.99 is pretty nasty and pre-made their gravy taste reheated the owners are their 24-7 and they have nothin else to to but stare at you to see if your going to buy more beer or gamble and they dont care about the quality about this place cuz their trying to sell it asap. their bartenders come and go like you change clothes the place is has a depressing vibe ,walking in their is like going to a funeral everyone looks sad. if you want some good gamig theirs a better bar across the street and if you want some HONEST FOOD theirs tons of places within a 1/4 of a mile .dont go to this mortuary youll regret it and you might just die.. Heard that they had ""real"" Cajun food. Not really....they have an idea of it....but it's really just greasy spoon bar food with the idea of some Cajun. We also got the Philly Cheese Steak that was smothered in a really cheap (oily,thin) Cheez Whiz sauce. That was uneatable. The dining room lacked any ambiance (little sterile and uncomfortable). The owners and employees are unkept, even dirty looking...not sure how clean our food and the place really can be. But if I ever want to get sick or have ""roughage"" I will go back. Otherwise from now on I go to a greasy spoon where at least I'm not confused by menu/food quality or whether I just wasted my time & money.
