It has been nearly 2 years since I wrote my first review about JSC - and I want to say that things have gotten better. There has been a lot of back and forth and a few hiccups along the way - but all in all- the service they have been providing has been much improved.
- When there is a change in driver, the subs have been on time and known where to drop my son off in the afternoon
- When they have been running late due to traffic or other un-expected events they have called me so that I am not left wondering when my son will be picked up.
- When we have had issues in the van between some of the students they have tried to help and been responsive towards our requests for how to improve things.
All in all - my experience with them has moved to a 3 star experience - I think they are doing what they need to get the job done and meet the expectations that I have and the school district has for them.

Many of the reviews I have read have been by people who have seen them passing on the street - let me tell you as somoene who is dependent on this company to get my child to school everyday - they are TERRIBLE!!!!
During the summer - they were unreliable and the driver barely spoke english. We had a new driver for the school year and were hopeful - oh, no such luck. She speaks english - but the incompetence actually runs deeper then just the driver. I sent an email to them outlining my son's afterschool schedule as well as exceptions - on the first day of school they brought him to the wrong place, and the only reason he wasn't left there is because they couldn't find it because they didn't convey the instructions on how to find the door to the driver. When I did call b/c my son was MIA - they first hung up on me and then when we finally figured out they were bringing him to the wrong place I could hear the manager in the background saying she didn't read my whole email!!!!! Why bother to put complex things in writing if people can't read the whole thing. Today they were 35 minutes late picking up my son!!!! My advice - go with another company - last year our district used YCN - and we had ZERO problems - this year, on the the 6th day of school we have had one day with no issues - great track record!!!!
