Well-versed electricians 3/27/2013

Christopher Jon Electrical came here and did some installations in our co-op. They replaced the lights in all 4 floors of our hallways. They did some personal work for me as well, and I was very pleased. They show professionalism and the people who come out know what they are talking about. The prices could be lower but it was a positive experience, they are well versed in the electrical field and they explain it well. more

Hit or miss. 3/26/2013

I have used Christopher Jon Electrical a couple of times, but the most recent time I was not at all impressed. I have had better experiences in the past but now I am reluctant to recommend them. My most recent experience I called to find out if they were able to do electrical work. At first they didn't understand what I needed. I explained it more and they said they would call me back, but they never did. They never came out or were able to do what I asked them. more

Excellent experience except one time no response to phone message 3/7/2013

I like Christopher Jon Electrical because they come quickly and take care of the problem. Once, after my first experience with them, I called and left a couple of messages. They never called me back so I had to go with someone else. But when they came out to do the job, they were excellent. more

Very good experiences. 3/6/2013

I had two experiences with them. The first one, I needed some electricity re-routed. They did an excellent job, charged a fair price, and the workmanship was good. The second job was hanging three chandeliers. It was a pretty long and complicated job. They didn't rush, and the work was excellent. more

Christopher Jon Electrical was very good. This was my first time with them. They were on time and they did what they were supposed to do. The only thing that was not solid is that they are a little expensive. They are good at what they do and deliver what they offer. more

A great company, very responsive though a bit expensive. 2/25/2013

My company has worked with Christopher Jon Electrical for many years now. We do a job with them probably once a month. They always do what we need of them. They schedule work quickly. They're very accommodating if anything needs to be adjusted or fixed. They do great work but are a bit on the expensive side. They are definitely worth the cost when you have a more complicated job like removing an expensive chandelier. We always have a good experience with them. more

I've used Christopher John Electrical for years for their low pricing. But some workers are better than others. From my experience, every electrician does things differently so I would recommend keeping the same electrician for all work. more

Pretty Finish 12/17/2009

I hired Christopher John to install a light fixture, I was absolutely speechless. Ginesh was very careful about my table (which I inherited) and was generally very polite and humble. I would recommend them for any job and have been recommending them to people in my building! Pros: Attention to detail Cons: none! more

Small jobs for big $$ 3/22/2009

Very nice and professional in making the appointment , showed up hours after the appointment window; technician was efficient and clean but price to swap two existing light fixtures was $400!! After a phone call the price was reduced to $300 for less than one hour's work. They are gambling that after you have taken off from work and spent the day sitting around waiting for them, that you will cave and pay at any cost. They advertise that they will do the small jobs and they do, but it will cost you. Pros: Ease in making appointments Cons: Ridiculous prices more

Nightmare 3/14/2009

Took half the day off work to be there from 1-3pm, when C.J. electrician was supposed to fix our front door intercom and buzzer. He showed up at 4:30pm-no phone call. Fees seemed super-high and when I initially balked at the price, he immediately reduced it by about 40%. Why not charge the fair price in the first place? Paid with a check, but then they also charged my credit card, and it took over 3 months to get the $400 credited back, with tons of phone calls and major run-around. After all that, the intercom still doesn't work. The repairman returned to look at it and insisted it had worked when he first fixed it. (Wrong-he said he fixed it, but it had never worked. He had just fixed the buzzer.) Never repaired it-still doesn't work. Pros: ? Cons: late, way overpriced, didn't fix the problem, double-charged more

Great Service!! 1/30/2009

I needed to have a ceiling fan installed and smoke detectors put in 2 rooms. The technician was incredibly considerate and was very child friendly and explained everything so we could understand. The price was reasonable and was given to me up front. He has all the tools and parts needed to start my job and was finished before i expected. He cleaned up well after himself and I paid exactly what he told me it was going to be. I told all my friends and family how I hate having handy men and such in my home and I wish I could do all the work on my own but I would call them again anytime!!!!!! Pros: ontime, friendly, explained everything before he started working Cons: no cons for me more

Yes, I believe they can provide good services. However, I would not recommend Christopher John to anyone who's annual salary is less then million dollars. Pros: Can consume your extra money and make you feel good Cons: I think they can be even more expensive then they are now more

I have an older home that I needed to have updated. Most of the materials were in their trucks and they were able to do the job in no time. I loved that they cleaned my house like they hadn't even been there. I recommend Christopher John to anyone. Pros: cleaned up after themselves. Had the materials they needed. Great Service, Great Results! 6/9/2008

Within the last week, I had some electrical that needed tending to in my house. I was recommended from a friend in the area to go with Christopher John Electrical. In the end, I got what I paid for, which was well worth it. Hard to believe I would say such a thing, but their reputation speaks for itself. They were ontime to the appointment, did the job quickly, finished most of the job right there (it was a small job), and cleaned up nicely. I've had other electricians do work in my house so I do have some perspective. Thanks again for your work christopher john electric! more
