Great technical job, left a horrible mess 7/24/2013

Christopher Jon Electrical did a great job but they made such a mess of my home that I had to hire a whole cleaning crew to clean up afterwards. My client was absolutely furious, they ran a line in a ceiling to install a chandelier around plaster and the mess was horrible. more

Overall good service with slow weekend response. 7/18/2013

This was my first time using Christopher Jon Electrical. I used them because the construction company I used to work for used them for many jobs and I had a few coupons. The service was fast and they did a great job while here. The job was completed on a Friday and I had some electrical issues after that and couldn't get in touch with them for a whole weekend. They were not returning phone calls and it was a very hot weekend and because of these issues I couldn't use the air conditioning. They resolved the issue on Monday, but I had to wait a full 48 hours. I did like this service, though. They did the job they were called to do. The service people were very knowledgeable and professional. I do consider them a good company and they have good recommendations. more

The electrician who came out seemed knowledgeable. He did some wiring in my breaker box and I had no problems with that again, after he finished the work. What I remember about Christopher Jon Electrical is that they were upfront about pricing; they had a book of different types of work they had done and were clear about their prices. There were no surprises. more

They resolved the problem and left the area clean. 6/5/2013

I had some issues with a few light fixtures in my apartment that didn't work. On both occasions, Christopher Jon Electrical came first to check out the problem and give me an estimate. They then came back on second day to do the repairs. They put down a tarp and cut a bit of the ceiling to get to the wiring. They resolved the problem, patched up the ceiling and left not mess. Apparently, some of the wiring presented a fire hazard so I'm glad they fixed it. more

Excellent work, question raised on business practice. 6/3/2013

I think Christopher Jon Electrical hit me with something that wasn't right on the price. I asked them to come and install a dimmer switch. I bought a really good one but he charged me as if the company had provided the switch. Otherwise, the service was great. I've used them twice and will probably be calling again. more

Christopher Jon Electrical did a good job rewiring the main wire to my house. They put in a new pole and meter, and everything turned out fine. I would recommend them to anyone who needs an electrician. more

Christopher Jon Electrical came on time and did a very good job under cost. They were very friendly and always willing to explain the technical issues going on. They gave suggestions of things that might occur in the future and a free estimate on things we might want to think about fixing. more

qualified staff, good results 4/25/2013

Christopher Jon Electrical did some basic electrical work for me. They had to figure out the break box and install an extension for an exterior light. Nothing too complicated. The guy that came out from Christopher Jon Electrical was very honest. He knew what he was doing They are definitely qualified for what they were hired to do. more

I've got a lot of great people working on my house- I have a great plumber and a great handyman. But I had never had a great electrician until now. Christopher Jon Electrical is dependable. I really liked Alex. He was professional and did what he was supposed to. I don't feel like they're gouging me. They are just very professional and get the job done which is what you want. more

Competent electrician but need to clarify pricing. 4/22/2013

The only issue I had with Christopher Jon Electrical was that their pricing wasn't very clear. When the guy told me the price, it almost seemed like he was making it up. I got the impression that they gave different prices to different people and charged me more because I was a woman on my own. I asked to see the price sheet but it was ambiguous. Otherwise, their service was good. They showed up on time and did the job. The unclear pricing was the only issue. more

I have used Christopher Jon Electrical about 4 times over several years. I got them out of the phone book. The first guy that came out was very impressive in explaining what needed to be done and why it needed to be done. Overall, he came out and got the job done to my satisfaction. more

Christopher Jon Electrical was very punctual and they cleaned up after themselves. They ran a new stronger, more powerful line from my basement up to the back of the house to the kitchen. It was beautifully done. They did a really good job, they are just expensive. Even though they are expensive, I would still go with Christopher Jon Electrical because they are reliable and they did a great job with no problems. more

They do a good job, 5 stars. They produce very, very good quality. The reason I know about them is I saw them do work at another building I was at, and I liked what I saw. I am the super for a building in town and I recommended Christopher Jon Electrical to my building for their superior work. Our building has been using them 3 or 4 years and they are reliable. more

Helpful, responsive and great electricians. 3/28/2013

Christopher Jon Electrical does excellent quality work. They are friendly and good at problem solving. We hired them for a small job- installing an outlet for an electric washer/dryer. It raised some complications because the original wiring in our house was unusual. They dealt with it very effectively and managed to set up the outlet immediately. They were very immediately responsive when an issue came up later. Christopher Jon Electrical is really great and I would recommend them. more
