Maintenance requests are usually completed within a day (even a new dishwasher was delivered with no complaints). The area is quiet and the apartments are pretty well maintained. I would have rated this complex five stars if it wasn't for the cockroaches. There is no infestation inside and pest control guys visit regularly, but there are quite a roaches outside at night so some are bound to get in the apartment. I'm surprised other reviewers had nothing to say about this. more

I have lived in Arbor Creek since this fall and renewed my lease for the upcoming year. I am a current graduate student who moved here for that degree and therefore was very unfamiliar with the Athens area and/or decent apartment complexes; I really lucked up with Arbor Creek. Aside from the affordable rent, I personally have encountered no issues with the owner and actually feel he is concerned about his residents and their happiness. After a leak caused a huge water bill, he helped me file a form through the Athens Water Office to get a partial refund on our bill. He also provided me with an air vent filter when I was struggling to find the exact size anywhere I could think of. It is also a generally quiet, well-kept apartment complex, especially for the price. Sometimes neighbors can be a bit loud, but for a college town, the majority of the residents are either graduate students or working young adults who tend to keep to themselves. If there are undergraduates, they tend not to be the partying types. Ultimately I would recommend this apartment complex for the price, location, and management. For the value, this is the best apartment complex I know of in the Athens area. more

Living in 2-bed, 2.5-bath apt. The manager did not look friendly at the beginning. But. he is not that bad. The young female in the office is the worst. Except for her, it is a reasonable price, well-maintained apt. I would recommend here for sure. more

Nice office staff, solid apartments, and a manager whose nickname Corky should be telling you something. Luckily, save for a nasty personality of that manager there is nothing else bad to say. more

I lived in Arbor Creek for two years and loved it. We never had any problems with fixes (on the rare chance we needed a repair, it was one within the day usually), no bugs, quiet complex, and affordable, especially for the amount of space.Two other sets of friends ended up moving into the complex because they envied the space and cost. I also got 100% of my deposit back when I moved out (unlike some other Athens' complexes). As a note aside, I think the young lady's review below should be taken with a grain of salt. Corky is the owner, and in the time I lived there, was very friendly with my roommate and me. However, anyone could easily see how he has a low tolerance for BS. Odds are, this young lady had unreasonable expectations. more

AWFUL! They just changed the person in charge, and it was the worst thing they could have done. I have lived in Arbor Creek for 2 1/2 years so far, and the new guy in charge, Corky, has left me counting down the days until I can leave this terrible place. I have never been treated with such disrespect and unwillingness to help. My water heater, dryer, and power have been broken for months without repair. I was treated as if I was a liar and everything that was not working properly in my apartment was my fault. I have never felt so uncomfortable in my own apartment. I am appalled by the customer service, or lack thereof, exhibited by this company. Besides old, nonworking appliances, there are bugs because the doors and windows are sealed improperly. There is almost no storage space throughout the entire apartment. Get ready to spend a lot of money on space saving alternatives. This place is not worth it - save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!! more
