Really good people, they do what they can to make sure your car is in good order, for a reasonable price.

Worst

I will not go again - They charged over $300 for a new battery - about $90 for "diagnostics", then $150 for battery, then labor charge AND a "shop materials fee" When I complaine...

John's is simply the best auto service company in Boulder for Lexus automobiles. They are very respectable and responive. The work standards are top-notch. I highly recommend John's. more

I will not go again - They charged over $300 for a new battery - about $90 for "diagnostics", then $150 for battery, then labor charge AND a "shop materials fee" When I complained about the latter, they did take it off, but that was a ridiculous charge to begin with. For rags used in the placing of the battery in the car. more

Definitely have found my mechanic! 6/19/2013

I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very upfront about pricing and what's going on. John was able to track down an issue with my car (through some impressive detective work that even the dealership missed) that had been causing problems for years. When I came back over a month later, he even remembered me by name and asked if everything was still running well. I VERY highly recommend this place. more

Friendly, quick service 6/13/2013

Air conditioner not working. They analyzed the problem within an hour of my arrival and had it done the same day as promised. Kept me informed with progress. more

Always attention to detail, always friendly, always happy to drive out. Time is money, if I didn't work so much, I'd do my own oil changes/fuel filters/flush/etc, but I'd say the people at John's take care of my vehicles as if their own. more

Fantastic experience 4/7/2013

I had my truck worked on at John's on April 5th, 2013. I was greeted by the owner, John, with a smile and was helped right away. While I waited for my truck to get looked at, I had a fresh cup of coffee with cold creamer! There was a variety of snacks, tea, and coffees available for customers. After the evaluation was complete, Barb told me in-depth what needed to be done and pricing so I was not shocked when I paid. Instead of waiting around all day for my truck to get fixed, John drove me home!! I really appreciated this as I didn't have a ride otherwise. When my truck was finished I got a text, not a call, which I also loved! I was picked up at my house by the owner's son and taken back to the shop. So great. There was an online coupon that I wasn't aware of, but it was applied to my bill! :) I cannot thank John's enough for taking such great care of me and my truck! I would recommended them to ANYONE. Five star, trustworthy service. Loved my experience at John's Autocare. THANK YOU! more
