He hires clowns, no repairs, opened our storage unit and ruined a shop vac after a flood (then left it unlocked and we had hand guns stored there). We fought him for 13 months, withheld rent and then he paid us another months rent to settle. We bought a house with the money saved. I was an excellent tenant of over 20 yrs. The rentals were in excellent condition until Sopensky bought the place.And get this the brother actially bought them and John takes the rent money. I was grandfathered in on my lease and he tried to raise my rent halfway through my lease year. To make a story short,he served me with a right to vacate order,which gave me 30 days to find a place and move out. I was forced out and still I left with the apartment in excellent shape! He was ordered by the district justice to give my deposit or reason why no by 30 days because he was found at fault! One year and one lawyer later I received double my security deposit ,by law. more

Slumloard, lead paint, leaking roofs, leaking pipes, broken tiles, stained walls and carpet. The owner John Sopensky is in court often for problems with his rental units... google it for yourself...sewer problems, occupancy permit problems...lead paint.....illegal renting practices and failing to pay his workers.....this all spells slumlord to me and others....do the research yourself and do not rent here. more

i am one of many maintenance men this man has ... i have just became maintenance supervisor now before that i was just a normal worker.. yes people lash out when evicted BRUINSFAN i was there when the sheriff opened the door and OMG dude how do u live in such filth .... i mean people do have issues i understand this ... but people wait till its a disaster befor they call ... also people will be behind on rent and not wanna call cause you OWE RENT ...And those of you who read this i am Tony the maintenance supervisor and i am highly skilled ... i have been in tenants apartments that say light switch dangling and mold is on the ceiling in the bathroom ... when i finally gained entry into the unit i was amazed at all the lint in the exhaust vent in the bathroom ... Now you know for damn sure you did not take the apartment with light switches dangling .... im sick of reading negative from all these NON WORKING STAYIN AT HOME NOT PAYING RENT L****S .....breakin stuff to get out of paying rent haha come on now ... ive gone to court with John to evict people who say the work is not getting done ... they shut up quick when they see me cause they know the work got done ... PAY RENT and report problems even if you owe rent and it will get fixed ...........hope this helps readers looking for an apt more
