Job was completed on 6-7-12 As being part of the military. Professionalism, customer service, and being on time goes a long way. Wayne (manager) came by and did the measurements and told me that I will receive the estimate by e-mail. The estimate did not arrive until the night before the job. The estimate only appeared after I called him that same day to verify (for peace of mind) that the contractor will arrive at 8 in the morning. Furthermore, due to time constraints of having to put the home on the market I went through several phone calls on Sunday to verify if his worker can come out this week. He did not meet the times he assured that he would call back to and only then did I receive a phone call after 9:30pm to say it could be done. That sort of behavior only happens from a lack of respect for the customer. I needed the job done that week, so I was left with little choice (He knew it). The reason why I gave it a 3 is because I was impressed with the work done to the floors overall. The contractors that came in was very polite and kept me up to speed if there was anything that needed to be done on my end. If my experience with Wayne was better I would have given his business a 5. more

We are having our kitchen renovated and didn't realize that the space under the lazy-susan was bare floor instead of hardwood like the rest of the room. As we are moving that cabinet, this is obviously an issue. I called Eareckson at ~1:30pm yesterday, and as I type this it is nearly impossible to tell where the repair work was done. Wayne was incredibly flexible - he called the store and had them hold the correct materials for me, and had a work crew over here within a couple of hours. The crew was nice and they did excellent work - all for a reasonable price, and it was complete literally within hours of my initial call. I will be recommending them to anyone who asks, as will my kitchen guy who took one of Wayne's business cards himself. more

I had Eareckson Floors install a hardwood floor in our kitchen. The gentlemen arrived early and got right to work tearing out the old flooring. When Wayne got there with the hardwood they were ready. The job was done by lunch time. I am very pleased with my experience and the floor looks great. more

I contacted Wayne to fix the wood floors in our rental property. Wayne had to clean up a mess that a previous company had made and first removed several layers of stain. Before contacting Wayne, we thought we had to completely replace the floors. He was able to replace wood that was water damaged, you couldn't even tell where the repair was made and the floors looked brand new when he was done. He did a spectular job! He was incredibly accommodating, worked around our schedule so that we could show the property while he was working and was very competitively priced Not only would I contact him again, I have recommended him to our entire neighborhood listserv. more

Contrary to previous reviews I had a much different experience. JK Eareckson just completed a refinishing job on our older pine floors and the results are great. I think Wayne, the estimator and project manager was the key. He returned my call immediately, visited and provided a very competitive estimate, gave great advise on finishing options, especially important with a soft wood like yellow pine, and monitored the job through completion. The floor was worn and the previous owner had done a poor job staining and finishing it. Within two days they had taken the floor down to a the wood, evened the rough surfaces and put down 3 coats of unrethane, sanding and buffing in between. The result is a smoothe, clean finish that looks new. The workers were courteous and ensured dust was kept to a minimum. Clean up was complete. Very nice work. more

I read the other review before I hired these guys thinking that they can't be that bad. What a mistake that was. They used too much wood filler. And didn't tint the wood filler to match the wood. And that was after they tore up a floor in the wrong part of the house because the owner was too busy to manage his employees. Use anyone but this company. Pros: Not many Cons: Unprofessional, poor management, poor product more

First 5 minutes on the job one of the workers flooded my upstairs toilet with a #2, which drained all the way down to my basement. They cleaned it up, but did not go out of their way to make it right. Pros: Removed a lot of lead paint and hazmat material without complaint. Did a good job sanding. Cons: Other flooring companies will repair and finish the same floors to a higher standard for less money. more
