Contrary to previous reviews I had a much different experience. JK Eareckson just completed a refinishing job on our older pine floors and the results are great. I think Wayne, the estimator and project manager was the key. He returned my call immediately, visited and provided a very competitive estimate, gave great advise on finishing options, especially important with a soft wood like yellow pine, and monitored the job through completion. The floor was worn and the previous owner had done a poor job staining and finishing it. Within two days they had taken the floor down to a the wood, evened the rough surfaces and put down 3 coats of unrethane, sanding and buffing in between. The result is a smoothe, clean finish that looks new. The workers were courteous and ensured dust was kept to a minimum. Clean up was complete. Very nice work.
