As being part of the military. Professionalism, customer service, and being on time goes a long way.
Wayne (manager) came by and did the measurements and told me that I will receive the estimate by e-mail. The estimate did not arrive until the night before the job.
The estimate only appeared after I called him that same day to verify (for peace of mind) that the contractor will arrive at 8 in the morning.
Furthermore, due to time constraints of having to put the home on the market I went through several phone calls on Sunday to verify if his worker can come out this week. He did not meet the times he assured that he would call back to and only then did I receive a phone call after 9:30pm to say it could be done.
That sort of behavior only happens from a lack of respect for the customer. I needed the job done that week, so I was left with little choice (He knew it).
The reason why I gave it a 3 is because I was impressed with the work done to the floors overall. The contractors that came in was very polite and kept me up to speed if there was anything that needed to be done on my end. If my experience with Wayne was better I would have given his business a 5.
