Joe's Auto Parks

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I've been trying to buy a monthly pass here and no one answers the phones. The lot attendants don't speak english. I honestly wonder if they are hired legally and are lawfully here in the US. I asked one attendant if I could park overnight and not pay again in the morning when I leave and told him that I'd be returning the next night and would pay then and he just said ""yes. yes. yes."" Then when I get to my car in the morning the morning worker said I had to pay otherwise he would report my car. Nevermind what the previous attendant said. Not even to mention that I'm willing to purchase a monthly pass for $120 except the office is incompetent at answering phones. I also asked for a receipt and didn't receive one. All I get are threats about having my car reported and ""yes. yes."" I'm not only reporting this here but also the the Better Business Bureau and possibly also to US Immigration. more

I would like to take this time to let you all know how incredible I think the service is at Joe's Auto Parks in downtown LA. I have been coming downtown since I was a kid and always remember seeing the Joes red and white sign. I never really knew how important parking was until I got stuck in a meeting last Friday. I knew that the lot closed at 7 pm and I was sweating because I wasnt sure if I could get my car out! The lot attendant Jose waited for me for 45 minutes and was happy to see that I was ok! I thanked him for waiting and he said, ""no problem Sir"".\r \r If I would had not gotten my car out than my entire weekend would had been ruined. I have had the worst experience with Joe's Auto Parks. I often parked at the location next to my office building on Spring Street, between 4th & 5th streets. Two months ago, I discovered a huge dent on my front bumper ($2000 in damages). I filled out a claims form & submitted it to the attendant who was supposed to give me a copy, but insisted he couldn't read English & wanted to show it to his supervisor. When I called the management office asking for my copy of the claims form, the manager Jeff Lumer informed me that my claims form had been lost. It's been several months now and Jeff Lumer won't even return my calls. The lack of concern and consideration from Joe's Parking has been extremely disappointing. There are security cameras set-up in the lot, but I have no idea for what purpose. They obviously don't give a sh** about their patrons. Please avoid parking there if possible. Cons: Everything. Completely inept, rude, and discriminatory attendants! There are a lot of other lots in the LA area that are more deserving of my money. Pros: location Cons: SERVICE! more
