Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts

My sister and I got outstanding service from the frame shop. We had just come from Michael's, where we brought our 60% off coupon into the store and walked out in horror. We thought probably Joann Fabric would be about the same, but we were wrong. Christine, the manager at the frame shop, treated us with respect and humor, even though we were low-budget clients who wanted to fix up older framing projects. We paid less than HALF the estimate at Michael's. more

I am not kidding, I have NEVER EVER been treated so rude as I was last night by Jodie at Manager here, I spent $300 on framing of family paintings the painting fell down inside the glass, so we brought them all back in, first thing she said " Well what did you do to them?" She was snotty, rude, low class, and not once said I'm sorry this happened! We were in awe of how we were being treated, thank god we learned how they treat people, we were about to have our school art program start using them! OMG Thanks goodness they didn't get our thousands of dollars! She wanted to refund me $50 out of $300 on a giftcard!!!!! I'd NEVER return there again, she said well call my boss Steve then! Geez...in all my years of retail shopping I've never been treated like a criminal, we will be sure to tell everyone we know NOT to ever go back there again. more

JoAnn Fabrics is another store close to my apartment building, which is wonderful. I can't think of another suburb that has as many stores as we do. JoAnn Fabrics is a large store with so much to shop for. They have a whole section of fabrics, sewing machines, all of the trimmings, like buttons, zippers, lace, ribbon and on and on. This store is very neat and clean at all times. They do not have enough cashiers on the weekends, because the store is really crowded with customers. They have a large area for rubber stampers where you can buy rubber stamps, inks, paper, punches, markers and colored pencils, to name just some of the items. Another section of the store has huge amount of artifical flowers and arrangement; also many pictures and mirrors. JoAnn Fabrics have 40% coupons almost every week also. We just threw a bridal shower for my sister in law and we bought all of the decorations at joann. The staff there was more helpful than I could have possibly wanted. The woman that helped us spent over an hour giving us tips,. ideas, and helping us make important decisions. When all was said and done I had several party goers say they had never seen such beautiful decorations at a shower. Thanks Jo-ann more
