A woman for whom I was to make her wedding dress went to this location, at my suggestion, to purchase a pattern for her big event. I told her she "could trust the clerks" to help her. While she is an obvious size 18, and she went with measurements which I provided, they sold her a pattern size 14. I had to add two panels and make multiple modifications to make it work (couldn't return the pattern because I had already begun cutting it). They seem to have an attitude of "Here's what you need. Goodbye." more

Good: quantity of merchandise. Bad: I had to BEG the clerk in fabric to show me where to find fabric that would work as sound cloth under a tablecloth. Even then she would not get someone to assist me . When a customer asks for help what do you instruct your employees do? Point? I will not be back.. Improvements: Service. more

Never been to this store yet but called them just now. Very unfriendly clerk on the phone; short and curt. Take it or leave it attitude. No thanks. I'll go elsewhere. more

I have been less and less impressed with this JoAnns store over the past few months. If you are looking for fabric, this is a great place to go. Half the store is fabric, and they are generous with the cuts. That said, if you are looking for anything but fabric, including patterns, notions, or advice on a project, go elsewhere! I have never had great service here, and I have often had horrible service. I went recently for a quick cut of fabric, and arrived half an hour before closing time. These ladies could not made it more clear that they wanted us OUT! The half of the store that is not fabric is a hodgepodge of notions, baskets, seasonal, scrap booking, painting, knitting, embroidery, etc, etc, etc. None of these areas are at all adequate. If you are looking for a good selection or good quality in any craft, you have to go elsewhere. more
