I have been less and less impressed with this JoAnns store over the past few months. If you are looking for fabric, this is a great place to go. Half the store is fabric, and they are generous with the cuts.
That said, if you are looking for anything but fabric, including patterns, notions, or advice on a project, go elsewhere! I have never had great service here, and I have often had horrible service. I went recently for a quick cut of fabric, and arrived half an hour before closing time. These ladies could not made it more clear that they wanted us OUT!
The half of the store that is not fabric is a hodgepodge of notions, baskets, seasonal, scrap booking, painting, knitting, embroidery, etc, etc, etc. None of these areas are at all adequate. If you are looking for a good selection or good quality in any craft, you have to go elsewhere.
