I just took my car in yesterday to have the window's tinted. The man who helped me (I can't remember his name) was very nice and helpful. He called me during the tint to tell me my rear defroster wasn't working and he wanted to know if I wanted them to tint the rear window or not. They had two people work on my car so it was done very fast. I went to pick it up and they did a great job, windows look wonderful and they even washed my car :) A bonus I wasn't expecting. I took my car home and my husband saw how good it looked so he immediately took his car in to get it done as well. Both our cars look great. Great shop, great customer service, and very decent prices. I will be recommending them to all my friends. more

There's always two sides to every story. He states that we overcharged him but our website indicates that when you add an engine steam to your full interior / exterior there is a $30 charge, so our pricing was accurately invoiced at $249 plus state sales tax. \r \r This reviewer characterizes the owner's comments out of context. As the owner approached the car he saw the basketball sized dent on the drivers door and a crease dent that had scraped a line across the rear passenger door so deep as to pierce the metal skin of the door . Both comments were made regarding this preexisting damage that the customer immediately admitted WAS preexisting damage that was not caused by us. The customer then pointed out a fingernail sized dent on the inside of the door frame claiming that this small dent was new.\r \r This vehicle left our facility the way it came in with the door closing correctly, weather tight. Jim's Detail has been a community business for over 30 years. We stand behind our service and have always taken full responsibility, without hesitation, for any rare case of property damage. more

Damaged Car - Do not take your car there!\r \r Went in for a full detail for both of my cars ($300/car). Dropped first car off. 1st bad flag was that they wanted to charge me 20% more than was quoted on the website price list, and to what the owner quoted me when I made the appointment on the phone! Went to pick up the car and drop my other on off. Noticed that the door would now not close. There was a 1/2 inch gap between the door and the top of the car. You can look right through the crack. And there was a huge new dent inside the top of the door frame. Looks like they backed it up into one of the many poles they have around the shop while the door was opened. Probably why all the poles have so many chips and dents on them as well. When I pointed this out, the owner's (Kevin) first words were ""we did not do this"" ""are you trying to scam me?"". WOW!! Full denial and would not even meet me half way to take it to a collision shop and have it checked. Basically told me to take a hike and that I was a liar. Took the second car I was going to have detailed and left.\r \r I'm not litigious, but will most likely take a moment to have an attorney send them a reqest to just fix what they damaged. I have photos and video.\r \r Boycott this place. Do not take or let your friends take their cars there. more

Jim's Detail shop has always done great work on all of my cars, my mom's cars and all of the people I have referred to them. The manager Connor is very knowledgable and has never tried to scam me or my friends and family. He inspects the car I bring in and gives me options, unless I just want a wash and none of them have ever left any dirt on my car or mom's car. Pros: quality work, open long hours more

Been going to Jim's detail since 2000. They have done both my cars, and even did a clear bra kit on my CBR 1000 Honda. Conner and his team have done great work for me, and the people I referred them to. Thanks Guy's keep up the great job.\r \r Pros: Very little wait time more

I had passed this detail shop many times. I kept saying I wanted to have my car interior cleaned and should check their prices. I also believe strongly in supporting local businesses before corporate structures. In other words, give the small private businesses a chance. When I finally went in there to price them, the way I was treated as a customer before I even gave them my business was impressive. So much so that I brought my car in the next day to have it done. I explained to Jason I could only have the interior done at this time. So, when I picked up my car several hours later that is all I expected. To my surprise, as a thanks for my business that day Jason also hand washed the outside. Jason was a delight to deal with, the work was impressive, and the prices were very fair and comparative. I will always bring my vehicles to these guys. If you want quality work with excellent customer service and good prices, this is the place to go.
