My son came home from college with low tire pressure. Problem found and repaired quickly. Low oil discovered and filled saving potential future problem. Nicely done guys!!!! more

Great as ususal 12/10/2011

Brought my 4Runner in for it's 120,000 scheduled maintenance. Jim called me to let me know that they'd previously done some of the services on the car so he wouldn't need (nor charge) for them. Car was done in expected time and car's running great. more

Highly Recommend 11/14/2011

I have told a few of my friends that if I saw Jim walking down the street without ever having met him, I'd guess he's an honest guy. He just looks honest. My hunch would've been right. What I mean is that in the many years that my wife and I have been taking our cars to him, he has never told us our car needs work it doesn't need. (We're not car experts, so that's as best we can tell.) Also, he and his mechanics are competent. Honesty and competency are what all of us want when it comes to car repairs, and that's why I recommend Jim's. more

Jim has always treated me with the attention you would want from a father or a brother who knows more than you do about your car. I always leave feeling that I have the best, most trustworthy people keeping me safely on the road. I have been going to Jim's now for maybe 15/20 years. Yikes has it been that long? more

Easy drop off and pick up 11/1/2011

I use the Glenside train station so was very happy when I heard good reviews of Jim's. I've used for oil changes, state inspections and recently a 30k manufacturer service recommendation. more

Maintaining the upkeep on my "2005 Ford Escape" 10/29/2011

I am very pleased with the way the owner "Jim" works with me in maintaining the upkeep on my car. I understand that when your car get past a certain point in years, maintenance is quite important, especially if you need your car for work and other business ventures. I appreciate the work and hopefully I will continue to refer friends and family to the business. Thank you! more

Coolant System Problem 10/21/2011

The problem was diagnosed, a price given prior to the work, and the repair was completed in a timely fashion. Jim explained in detail what the problem was. He was polite and helpful. My car runs beautifully now. more

We've been satisfied customers for over fifteen years. Jim and his staff provide professional workmanship at a reasonable price. They understand the need for responsive, timely service, even in emergency situations. We wouldn't consider taking our cars anywhere else. more

Another good experience 10/12/2011

Had my 10 year old minivan with 185k in for routine service. As usual, I dropped it off, told Jim to "do whatever it needs", got on the train and picked it up at 6. I've come to trust Jim; I never get the sense he's doing more than it needs. more

This Past Experience Not My Best Experience 10/5/2011
