The only reason that I come here is because it's convenient. They have a shuttle that runs to MARTA, so it's the only way I can take my car to the dealer without being stuck. I ...

Awesome service 2/4/2011

Buying cars is always a painful battle between what you want and what the dealership wants you to have. Not at Jim Ellis, I was in and out the door with the vehicle of my choice in mere hours, and on my terms. I highly recommend Jim Ellis VW, and when you get there, ask for Jane. more

Terrible Experience 1/31/2011

I have never had such a bad experience as I had here. My sister and I went in looking for a Jetta and felt so unwelcome. We were given the runaround . We were there for literally 5 hours. I wanted to cry! more

Positive Experience with Jim Ellis VW 1/3/2011

Girard was persistent and helped me get to the right number for both parties. I have had offers from Honda equivalent to what I got for the Jetta but I was holding out for the Jetta because that was more of my preference(actually my daughters preference). I could have had the Honda a few weeks earlier. This is the 4th vehicle that I have purchased/leased from the Jim Ellis dealership and I have been pleased with all of them. I also want to single out the finance person that I spoke with. I'm sorry that I don't have his name but he took the time to explain the numbers even though I was in a hurry, that did not deter him from doing a very good job with giving me with all the possible options open to me and providing me with the chance to go with either a lease or a purchase.--Enrique Trinidad more

I really liked working with Jason. He did a great a job of explaining all the features of the car and he was very knowledgeable on everything the Jetta TDI had to offer. I actually enjoyed the process compared to the last time I bought a car from a different dealership. The salesperson, Ms. Dailey was easy to work with, and very accommodating. My older son had bought a VW at the Cobb location, and was also very complimentary of that dealership. Car was delivered as promised, totally detailed, and a tank full of gas. Pros: professional service more

Great Experience at Jim Ellis Volkswagen 5/1/2010

Mr. Ellis, Kenneth was wonderful to work with. He was intuitive about our wants and needs, and proactive. We were mentally prepared to buy, but you were our first VW dealership we went to, so we hadn't even looked around. The service was great, Kenneth was sincere and it just felt right. It was great to have the available computer to obtain insurance for the car on the spot. I honestly drove off with a big smile on my face. Zero buyer's remorse. Jim Ellis dealerships will be our first stop for any car in the future. We will be buying another one this year, so we will be back. Thanks for the experience! Excellent Service 3/9/2010

I am very pleased with the effort by your service staff to rectify the problem with my 2008 EOS. Wind noise through the drivers side window has been an ongoing irritation since I first purchased the vehicle. You had looked at it twice before and made an improvement but it still persisted. I brought it in most recen3tly to get it fixed "for good." You kept the car for over 2 weeks but its fixed! I especially appreciate being provided a loaner vehicle during the repairs. When it's time to replace the EOS, I will remember this fine customer service and will try to stay in the Jim Ellis family. Thanks to Lisa and the service staff for their hard work and follow-up. Extraordinary Experience 2/9/2010

From start to finish our entire experience was perfect! We found two vehicles on line, came in to view & test drive and left with a Jetta. Our entire time spent was 4 hours. There was no haggling, no games, it felt like we were buying from a family friend. We will most definitely purchase from Jim Ellis again! Great service 1/15/2010

Actually my mother owned a new beetle from Jim Ellis when they first came out. She was so happy with the service that when I was looking for a new car she recommended Jim Ellis because of the great service that she received. That is why I purchased a certified pre-owned Jetta from Jim Ellis because I knew that it would be reliable and that the staff would be honest people that I could trust. Very best way to take care of your Volkswagen 10/26/2009

Lisa is most often our service advisor, but anytime we are served by any other advisor, we are treated the same way, like family. I tell my Volkswagen friends that the very best way to take care of their cars is Jim Ellis service. We have bought ten Volkswagens from Jim Ellis since 1980. Jim Ellis Volkswagen of Atlanta is terrible 7/22/2009

The only reason that I come here is because it's convenient. They have a shuttle that runs to MARTA, so it's the only way I can take my car to the dealer without being stuck. I have had numerous repeat problems that they have not fully fixed and they won't look into the problem further without charging me. Even when they did find the route of the problem, my car was conveniently out of warranty by then and they wanted to charge me for it. more

Great Service-Great Management 6/12/2009

I have had 3 VWs. Jetta, Passat and now another Jetta. I love my VW. This time, however, I think I am just wearing this one out. I have had more than 3 issues in 2 years. The truck wouldnt shut and needed a part, the windows wouldnt roll up, and the lighter got a dime stuck and blew a fuse. Every time I took it to Jim Ellis in Atlanta, they took great care of me and had me driving home in hours. They give you quotes, work with you on what is urgent and what isn't. Most of all, they are just professional and honest. If you are looking to buy a VW, I say go for it....for over 14 years I have been happy.. low to maintain, gas efficient, and have all the goodies! Pros: Great location! Professional, fast, and affordable! Cons: What is worse than having car problems to fix? more
