Great Sports Bar In Utah 12/20/2011

I just started going here recenlty and I just love this place. Great TVs for watching the games. They have just about all the NFL games showing on their big screen TVs. Great and Fun Crowd. I go there at least 3 times a week. Legends has the hottest waitressess in Salt Lake. The food is fantastic, especially the chicken wings. The bartenders can be a little grumpy sometimes but are pretty cool for the most part. I encourage everyone who loves to watch sports and likes good food to check this place out. more

Not your typical Pub 2/1/2011

Been here at least 30 times, the food is so good! I have never been dissapointed. Try the pizzas and the California Burger, all the appetizers are good too. The staff is fun and compared to other sports bars in the area, this is a fun, clean, and nice establishment. more

Legends Pub & Grill in SLC- Lunchtime 1/12/2011

We have an hour to enjoy our lunch, so if you have lots of time on your hands feel free to sit (did I say sit) awhile. We have given this place several do-over's thinking that some places just have their bad days. There were only four other tables occupied and it took 10 mins to take our order, another 30 to receive our food. We immediately asked for a box and the check. We hurried to eat a few bites then it was out the door to be back to work on time. Oh did I mention that a table that ordered after us received their meal before us and the same server that we asked for the check immediately when the food landed on the table, gave the other ""four"" tables their check and lingered at one of the tables talking. We had to ask the cook for our check and boxes. Food was just alright in my book and I am not picky eater. They are still in business so maybe there ""later"" hours are better staffed. more

The best chicken around 2/4/2009

The restaurant's ambiance is awesome. Definitly a must if you're a sport's fan. Oh an dont forget to try the Tin Lid. It comes wih all this binch of good stuff to eat on a garbage can lid! Very interesting! more

the service was really bad. waited 25 min before are order was taken and it was wed night maybe 10 tables was being used ,The food was way below what you would call beef, i broke off my tooth on something in the roast beef, servier was rude and very abrupt, The Mangers was unavailable but was there but unable to talk to Astor bissy standing around with the rest of them while people's food sat up an the table ready to be served . I did time one meal and it sat up there of 18 min before it was taken to the table bad this was the fort uinion iggys\r and we go to iggys in south town all the time and it is great . beware of fort uioion.................... more

A Customer Service Catastrophe 2/19/2008

Upon entering the restaurant, my boyfriend and I were met with a blank stare from the hostess followed by a curt ""How many?"" She sat us at a table, threw the menus down and left. Not once were we approached by a waiter or busser and offered a drink. As we waited for someone to come take our orders, the tables to our sides and behind either one of us were offered at least minimal service, and finally after fifteen minutes of not ever being approached by a single employee, we left, having not been acknowledged by anyone. After leaving, I called the restaurant personally and asked to speak to the General Manager about our experience, when the hostess told me that he doesn't take phone calls during the lunch rush, and hung up. Being a GM (granted, of a retail store) myself, I consider myself to be extremely concerned with my customer's needs, and would never dream of declining to speak to a customer with an issue or concern regarding my business. I called back several minutes later and demanded to speak to the GM, lunch rush or not. She kept me on hold for 5 more minutes, until I just gave up and hung up the phone. I can't think of ever having received such a disgusting lack of service in my years of eating out. I will never return to this location again. I've gone to the location on 10600 South many times, and have always received superior service from an extremely friendly staff, but upon reading some other reviews, it seems that this location is in dire need of a change of management. I have eaten here two times with a friend, and both times we waited between 10 to 15 minutes to get things like drink refills, our check, etc... I went here to Iggys recently (400 West is the new location) for a radio station mixer. I sat down, looked over the menu (by the way, you have to order food with a drink), although I wasn't hungry, someone with the radio station said to grab some of the hour?douvres, I did and the three waiters/waitresses that were working the area all ignored me and didn't bother to ask if I wanted a drink, since I wasn't ordering food from them. I went to the bar to try to speed up the process, was told you had to ORDER food. Now, I know the liquor laws in Utah or wacky, but I think if you are at a private party and you have the food being provided, doesn't that allow one to have a drink? Or is Iggy's trying to capitalize on the laws by trying to sell their inferior food. The bartender that evening was rude, as was the hostess, who said that is the way it is and it's like that everywhere in Utah. I complained to the manager before leaving the function roughly 20 minutes after I arrived, he was not much better, still, I sat there without even a water, while other people were sitting down and getting served, why because they wanted food from the menu with their drink. If you go there, don't eat before hand since you will be forced to eat their inferior food, don't expect great service. A sports bar, I think NOT!! more
