No pat down for Seniors, treat your customers like they matter. I needed to go to my car to get my glasses and extra cash and was rudely told ""go ahead but this will be your last time"". Not a excellent customer/ patron experience. It should have been explained to me that once in, if you leave there's no re-entry. Wont be doing that again! This Club treats you like the ""Hood"", maybe it is! more

Nice club. Plenty of lovely ladies, great music, and good food. My only concerns are the dirty carpets in the dinning area, and the dirty bathrooms. This place could be the place to be, if only they presented their clients with a truly upscale experience. I want to continue to frequent this establishment, but they will have to clean up their act. If they do, their will be no place like it. more

I had my 34th bday party there, and I couldn't have had a greater time! The owner and staff made making my reservations pleasant and informative, and I was able to decorate my area as I wanted to. My bday was GREAT! The food was delicious, and my waitress was 100% on point! The live band that performed that night gave such a great show, that although they had a dance floor and a DJ in the other room, I did not have a need to go! The Band ROCKED IT!!! Everything was great, Great food, Great service, Great Music, Great Times!!! I would definitely recommend it and I will be going back!!! :-) more

Although it is true that once in the past, this place had rude service and unprofessionalism, they have changed management. For the better. They now have a very excellent buffet, 2 bars, and the service seem friendlier. You'd be surprised. more

Went here for my 41st birthday with my sister!!! She had on a dressy shirt with some cute jeans! the Fat dude at the door told her she need to change and went to a closet with different color and sizes of dress pants with a tags on them for her to change in!!! That was the first 'RED FLAG' After we got in we ordered our drinks!!! The waiter was nice a young guy forgot his name, cause about the time they brought out out over priced food, the sh-- was cold!!!! I told him to go get the owner!!!! That old ass fool came and had the nerve to act like we were bothering him!!! We told him we wanted our money back and he acted like it was going to be an issue!!!! After he got cussed the hell out he gave us back our money and we left!!! Denny's had better service and Food!!!!! Don't ever go to this place it is a waste of time!!!! Those other good reviews are by the owners themselves or their friends!!!!! Save your money!!!!!! Pros: Black Owned Cons: They don't have no idea about customer satisfaction!!!! more

My daughter who lives in Sacremento made the dinner arrangements for my 50th birthday party,I had friends coming long distance's for this event,when they got there it was unclear as to who was going to wait on our table at first it was a very nice young man by the name of Jamal,but this female waitress wanted to wait our table,when she took over it all went south from there,their were about 8 of us at the table before eight and ordered our dinner,one guess who happens to be white got her meal first and it was cold,they took it back,26 mins later i got my meal and the cooked greens still had that tag thing on them when you buy them out of the store on them,The head waitress had the nerve to ask me if i wanted more greens,knowing they probably didn't clean them in the first place ,My sister waited appox. 45 min to place her order then an hour for it to get to the table,My daughter's boyfriend waited over an hour to get his food,nobody's food arrived at the same time,nobody was ever asked if they wanted anything from the bar,we had to keep waving her down for water,My friend April flagged Jamale down for a glass of wine.now mind you my daughter called and made the arrangements showed them her ID at the door and it was agreed those under 35 would leave by 9 p.m., it was 4 young people in my party that were all over 23,before they all left i asked them to dance with me and it was a line dance,the owners made them leave the dance floor,Mind you they didn't mind taking their money ,with the bad service and the rudeness alot of my friends left and those that came after 9 left early also,We talked to the owner Benny and he was just as rude,stating she was the only one complaning,no one in my party was happy about how we were treated, one of my friends asked for her check that took over 45 min. to get,whan she was leaving the building the waitress that waited on our table passed her and said By Bitch.I really wished i would have read the blogs on this place I will NEVER visit this Jazz Club again,Im active in my commuity and will tell them about my DISGUSTINGmore

The service at the establishment is horrendous. The food is overpriced........the Mac & Cheese: Looked, smelled and tasted OLD! The cornbread could be used a a loofah for your poor tired feet.........disgusting. ** The thing that REALLY is holding this business back is the fact that the DOOR personnel has no clue what it means to have Good Customer Service. They have a policy on NO IN and OUT... (Exceptions Only)... WTF does that mean. It's a 35 and older place. There aren't any kids around. Why should you be charged an additional $15 because you need to go out to your car and get your camera or a pack of gum or to get some AIR and smoke a cigarette WHATEVER IT IS........that is just foolishness! The OLD school players with the TIRED brims are allowed to enter and exit.........but the regular folks cannot......STUPID! My friends and I left ........... and I assure you I will NEVER go back. It's not the fact that they have rules, albeit a DUMB rule, but it's the way that the Large man at the door spoke to us. It was totally uncalled for and the things he was asking was inappropriate. If they had a corporate office I would bombard them with letters. Unacceptable!!! I try my best to support black-owned businesses but it just seems that time and time again..........we just can't get it right! It pains me to say it but it's the truth! No Denim at all..........it's just a OLD building in ONTARIO..........it's NOT VEGAS or LA! PLEASE! If I could give it NEGATIVE ZERO stars I would! Ok: RANT over! The people working at this place were soooo rude. I love supporting black owned venues but I will never go to this place again. My sister was celebrating her bday here, they would not even let me come in for 2 minutes to say happy bday because my date was wearing jeans. When I finally did come in, it took 2 and a half hours to even get the cold nasty food that they gave us (which ended up being the wrong item) and then had the nerve to still ask us to pay. This place is horrible and overcrowded. Please, unless you want to be angry from eating nasty food and having nasty service, save yourself the trouble. I was actuall suprised with the entertainment. The food was fantastic. The pork chops and gravy will make you scream. The fried chicken dinner was nice a crisp a truly enjoyable treat for all you chicken lovers. All this accompanied by the live the soft and mellow sounds of smooth jazz. The late night experience entailed dancing til the late night hour. Happy go lucky crowd with the sounds of old school buggy lovers. Had a great time, looking forward to my next visit. This place totally hits the spot! There's usually a live jazz band playing in one room and a DJ spinning hip-hop hits in the other room. The kitchen serves up creole soul food all night, so I get my fried fish and gumbo dishes while I soak in the culture. more
