Smooth and fast! 9/28/2016

This is my second time working with Jay - he got me my first mortgage and now refinanced it at a lower rate. He reached out to me to alert about lower rate I could get, worked on making sure I got the best rate and saved money. The process started with a couple phone conversations and the rest of it was done online, finished with a meeting in a convenient to me coffee shop. Pretty happy with the outcome. Thank you! more

Patient, gracious, and helped me achieve my goals 1/26/2016

I did a refinance with Jay Sondhi at Guaranteed Rate and I was very satisfied with his assistance and rates. It was very frustrating because my loan was complicated and I needed past W2's because of the IRS and Jay and his team were very patient with me while they were waiting for me to collect all the paperwork. I would highly recommend Jay Sondhi and his team, they're very supportive and want to help you achieve your goals. I've already forwarded his info to friends, I trust that he would help anyone close their loans. more

Efficient and friendly service to help with easy home financing. 12/21/2015

I used Jay Sondhi - Guaranteed Rate when I was looking to get pre-approved for a home loan. Basically, I got it all done ahead of time with the pre-approval letter to be attractive to home sellers. He helped us to aggressively close, it was a 21 day closure which was pretty aggressive and even though it ended up being 30 days because of a screw up in their office, they worked hard to close as quickly as possible. more

Amazingly smooth process 9/24/2015

This was my first time working with Jay Sondhi - Guaranteed Rate to refinance a property. I live in a different time zone, and they were really accommodating. They contacted me via email and made everything very easy. I refinanced a different property in the past with another company, and my experience with Jay Sondhi was much easier. They're really organized and they know what they're doing. Their customer service is excellent and they're so helpful. more

A good experience 10/14/2014

Jay Sondhi, the government loan specialist, helped me get a home loan. He provided very good customer service, and he promptly responded to any questions I had. He was very polite, and I was satisfied with most of his answers. However, some issues were not resolved in the time frame I wanted, and that is my only complaint. Other than that, it was a good experience, and I received the home loan I needed. RESPONSE FROM Jay Sondhi - Guaranteed Rate: Transitions can be tough. We completed this loan while we were switching companies which was very challenging. Sorry for the delay! Things are much MUCH smoother these days! more

Jay did an excellent job of communicating, preparing us, and telling us what to expect. 12/6/2013

Jay Sondhi deserves a six-out-of-five recommendation. The biggest thing for me was that it was a long process from start to finish, and Jay really kept us informed and in the loop. It took about six months overall. We would hear from him in a timely manner if something happened. He would also call us every couple weeks just to say he was there for us. Even though it took so long, I never felt like we were just a file sitting on a desk somewhere. He did a really good job in the beginning of explaining to us what the process was going to be like. He was clear about the timeline and what to expect. We felt really well prepared. Along the way, he was great about communicating what we needed to expect, sign, and know once everything was done. more

Fantastic! 9/17/2013

Jay and his team were fantastic! He personally guided us through two transactions: first to take our TIC and finance it as a condominium, and then to purchase a new home in San Rafael. He was consistently the best in terms of giving accurate information, working personally with the various lenders, understanding the intricacies of the transactions and keeping a positive outlook for us even as we tended to panic. I highly recommend Jay Sondhi. more

Pretty good experience overall 8/20/2013

Jay Sondhi provided a refinance for my house and everything went extremely smooth. We did everything primarily through email with the occasional phone call. Everything was timely as he identified documents that I need to provide. He got me a great interest rate and gave me lots of options when it came to all the different kinds of loan options to lock in the best rate. He did it entirely at no cost to me. more

A pleasurable experience 7/15/2013

Jay was able to get us probably the lowest rates that we've seen. We had a couple other places we requested quotes from. It was pretty quick, but I rated it 4 out of 5 because I think it was the lender. Great rates, great service, and made it quick and easy. A pleasurable experience. Jay and his company were able to offer us the best rates. He does work very very hard to find you the lowest rate. That alone is worth asking and trying. I would definitely recommend them! more
