I just started going to Jay Andrews and I am in love!!!! Great Atmosphere and Awesome Stylist!!! I got the Greatest hair cut from Connie and it is the Best haircut I have ever had!!! I will be going back!!! more

Why did it take me so long to write a review?!! I love love this salon! Not only is the space beautiful but the staff is incredibly talented and obviously very well trained... I've had some not so great experiences with other Aveda salons in the area; not to mention some inexperienced stylists and absent owners... Thank goodness I found Jay Andrews! I've seen a few different stylists (at both locations) and worked with the owner and I've always been impressed and thrilled with my hair and overall experience! more

Over a year ago I sought out Jay Andrews salon after hearing how good Connie was with hair. I had been going to a salon in north raleigh for over 20 years and I was not happy with the service and unfortunately my hair had been over processed and was severely damaged. I was embarrassed about the damage when I first met Connie, but she immediately put me at ease and told me not to worry, that she would be able to repair the damage over time. She did not let me down, in less than a year my hair is healthy again! There is rarely a week that goes by when someone doesn't compliment me on my cut and/or color. I also love how well the salon is run...the staff is always accommodating and courteous and it's always a relaxing experience for me. I'm a Jay Andrews customer for life and highly recommend Connie and her team to anyone that wants to look their best! It's amazing what a good haircut and color can do for a girl!! more

I have been coming to Jay Andrews for 4 years and I absolutely LOVE this salon! The stylists are so friendly and helpful and the receptionists are very welcoming. I always get complements on my blonde highlights and have recommended many of my friends who have a great experience as well. I would recommend this salon to anyone looking for a great cut or color! more

I had an excellent experience at Jay Andrews! The salon environment was calming, the stylists were bright and energetic. I've always had trouble with my hair and my stylist was very attentive and showed me products that met my needs. The color and cut turned out amazing. Exactly what I wanted, and more! We had a miserable experience with color treatment. We spoke with the Owner, but after that conversation - we went to another Aveda Salon for Color CORRECTION. The staff is obviously not well trained, and the result, unfortunately, will be many many months of BAD hair from the treatment. I do NOT recommend trusting these folks with color treatment for your hair. more

Love this salon! I'm a last minute girl so I call in for my appointments sometimes the day I need them. Jay Andrews is always so accommodating. I've seen several of the stylists and have gotten beautiful color and cuts from every one of them! Everyone has been so pleasant and has really listened to what I want. I have also gotten my brows waxed and they always look great! Love the relaxing hand massage at the shampoo bowl and the glass of wine I get during my visit. Always a great experience! more

I looked for a new salon for a while when I relocated to NC. I found some good reviews and decided to give Jay Andrews a try. My first visit was okay - I received a full color and cut, style, etc. My stylist was a brand new employee fresh out of the Aveda Institute. She was friendly and helpful and I felt that even though she was a ""newbie"", I was in pretty good hands. The color and cut were fine. However, after my first home shampoo (and I spent a lot on a good sulfate free color friendly shampoo), the color ran and ran. 2 weeks after my color, I looked like I never had anything done. Flash forward to two weeks ago for my 8 week follow up. I had the same stylist and told her about my color issue and she said that it was probably just the color on the ends. I told her, no it was quite noticeable on top and she seemed uninterested. This time I opted (and hoped for a much better outcome) for highlights along with my color and a shorter haircut. The haircut was terrific but the next day, my highlights were totally orange!!!!! I pleaded with her beforehand to give me highlights that would look natural and not overly done. I left there feeling and looking good but alas, the shock the next day was appalling. My hair is now brown with very orange highlights and it is more dry and brittle than it has ever been. I spent quite a lot for this haircut, color and highlight treatment and can tell you now that I will not be a returning customer. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but this is terrible and now I am seeking a new stylist to help me. Also, the ""luxurious perks"" they offer are nothing special (at least not in my experience) a very soft half a minute hand rub on each hand while your conditioner is in your hair and when offered a beverage, I chose water and received a glass with lukewarm tap water. Where is the luxury in that? Everyone is very friendly and I am very disappointed that this place was such a let down for me even after I gave it a second chance. \r \r \r \r \r \r more

One of the first things I did when I re-located to Holly Springs NC was to track down the closest Aveda salon and spa. I was referred to Jay Andrews via the Aveda website. I've been extremely happy with the services that I've received at JA. My cut and color are beautiful everytime, I receive exceptional service from the front desk staff and the atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend Jay Andrews. more

Incredible!!!! I have lived in the area for almost 2 years and have been to several salons. A couple of my co-workers recommended Jay Andrews. I have never been so happy with a color or cut!!! My stylist really listened to me and the results proved it! The front desk staff were also wonderful, checking on me throughout my visit. I would recommend to anyone!!! more

Not Thrilled. I went in to donate my hair to Locks Of Love and everybody seemed so thrilled. They booked an appointment for me with one lady who they were confident could do a great cut for me. Well turns out they double booked her and I had to work with another lady. This lady did not seem confident in herself. She seemed scared. I told her I wanted a pixie cut with a little length and side bangs. I walked out of there with straight bangs and REALLY short hair. I don't understand how she got that out of what I had said. If you have to constantly tell me how good it looks, to me, you are not happy with it yourself. When it came time for me to leave she ran away without saying bye or anything. I feel I got the short end of the stick on that one. I'm just glad the cut was free, because I had donated, and hair grows back. I am less than thrilled with my experience. more

New to the city and I sought out a good place. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely go back.My husband LOVED my 'do. He said it was the best my hair has ever looked and that I should always go to Jay Andrews. more

I was so happy to find jay andrews salon spa. Always a little scared to go to a new place and fully trust someone with my hair, I was very pleased when walking into the salon and being greeted right away with the receptionist. Right away I felt that this was a great place and put my worries at ease. I had a great experience and my hair looks awesome. I already made my next appointment and can't wait to try out other services offered there! more

I am always amazed at the friendly staff at Jay Andrews. I have been a client here since they opened three years ago. I feel very relaxed and pampered whenever I am there. When I have a question about the price of any of my services the front desk or my stylist always informs me of the price change. I came to Jay Andrews after ruining my hair color with a box color and thankfully my stylist was able to fix it. She was very knowledgeable about color which made my experience better because i felt like I was in good hands. The other staff were friendly as well. I have recommended them to everyone I know both male and female. more

I had been referred to jay andrews by a friend and decided to check it out. I visited the Beaver Creek location in February and had a fantastic experience! I was greeted by a lovely girl at the front desk and offered a glass of wine while i waited for my stylist. I sat down and in no time was greeted by my stylist...I wish i could remember her name but i do remember that she was very kind and knowledgeable. A few months later i found the new location in Morrisville, Which happens to be very close to my house. I decided to check out the new location and had an equally outstanding visit. The girls at the front desk were amazing and the stylist really LISTENED to what I wanted. I once again left with a fantastic hair cut and feeling wonderful. I would definately recommend either location. more

I can not sing the praises of this salon / day spa enough! Today was my third visit and I can not share how pleased I am with both my new - shiny - beautiful hair color and style, and the amazing facial that left my skin glowing. more
