Jasper Contractors

5 men in 2 Jasper Contractor Trucks came to our door to look at our roof. We were told that we had hail damage. 1 persons "Tom" was apparently our specific guy we were going to deal with. Our insurance agent was called and he and "Tom" met at our home to inspect the roof. When our insurance adjustor called he said that "Tom" agreed with him that there was not any damage. The adjustor said "Tom" indicated we felt there was damage and led him to believe we called Jasper Contractors. This company solicits door to door and then misrepresents the customer and wastes everybodies time. As for the sign in our yard it was removed promptly and I would never recommend Jasper Contractors to anyone. We schedule an inspection with your insurance adjuster to present your roof damage. All inspections and roofs are different. In some cases the insurance company will deny the claim. I had hail damage September 2012. Elmer came to my home told me that they would do the job for what the insurance paid, and said sign here. So of course I thought this was a great deal until I was sent to collections for a $489.00 balance. Job was completed October 3rd 2012 and I was sent to collections October 23, 2012. 20 days yes you read that correct. They had the wrong email address, my fault right. Never attempted to contact me via phone or mail. When asked why their response was our company is trying to "be green." So I can't get my warranty until I pay the remaining balance on a job that was only suppose to be only what the insurance paid. They(insurance)wrote me a check and I signed it over to Jasper. Please don't use this company!!!!!Save yourself the headache and extra money you have to come up with. My total roof was $8100.00 which they receved the check for, then come back and say well there's sales tax. What a joke. DONT USE THIS COMPANY. RESPONSE FROM Jasper Contractors Indianapolis: Jasper Contractors attempted to explain to the homeowner that she is still responsible for the portion of the deductible. This is also stated on the Roof Replacement Contract: "Deductible: It is the owner's responsibility to pay the Insurance Deductible. Property owners' out of pocket expense will not exceed the deductible amount as stated on the insurance campany loss sheet." Unfortunately the account was put into collections after the homeowner informed us that she would not pay the remaining deductible. We do not release any Warranty Packets until accounts are paid in full. We apologize if any of this was a miscommunication. more

The contractors that did the work and the roof are the only things going for this company. At first i thought all was well sales guy said no problem we ll do it for what they pay you for the roof (lie) sign here please. Well i shouldve known but i didnt know what rcv meant im not an insurance adjuster i thought fair n square what i paid. Lied to me repeatedly told me 2 different install dates didnt come on either one. Told me paid in full then sent me an invoice for another 2400 oddly enough they messed up the numbers what a shocker. Then come back with 801 still owed on a paid in full bill mind you. I wouldnt recommend these thieves to my enemies. Ive already stopped two people from dealing with them. I feel ripped off. Yes i have a new roof but i had to spend the money meant for the gutters to help pay for it. Sneaky no good tactics. more

Everyone involved with our Jasper roof were fantastic. Account Manager Mark Liston was very professional, Ray's two crews did a very good job and they finished early and cleaned up everything. There was good communications form start to finish and all my calls were returned promply or answered by Mark in person. Best of all, our roof looks great! more

Everything went pretty well overall, with the exception of the install date getting scheduled on the wrong day. I took a day off work to be at home the day of the job, and they were a "no show". It took nearly all morning to get in touch with someone who could tell me what had happened. It was a pretty big inconvenience to change my schedule, but was able to get the work done the next day and they offered a discount for my trouble. more

I have been very pleased with the service that I received from Jasper Contractors. The account manager, Corey Hollingsworth, was very helpful and took the time to answer my questions. The installation crew did a great job. They were very hard workers and left my house in excellent shape. Everything was cleaned up and put back in order. The new roof looks great. more

Our main complaint is that Jasper did not provide anyone that could speak english, therefore, we were unable to communicate with the crew. The project manager, William, barely participated in the process which would have helped with the communication. However, Cory Hollingsworth was very helpful in his capacity as sales rep. Otherwise, the product was good, the service was good. more

Everything about the process seemed very organized and painless. Just one small hiccup with the delivery of the shingles but all turned out well. Only thing i have to complain about is i was told they would arrive at 6:30am to start and my doorbell rings at 5:50am. Wasn't quite prepared for that so it was a bit of a surprise. more

The whole experience was very good. The work was done in a very timely. I did ask for but did not receive any spare shingles for future problems. Thats the only reason i gave 4 stars. more
