I ordered an arrangement for my nieces 30th birthday after seeing the Jane's favorite floral picture on their web site. I live out of town and trusted them to replicate the arrangement. I even paid $15 more than the cost to have them beef it up even further.\r \r My niece was thrilled with the arrangement but hadn't seen the web picture and didn't know of the missing flowers. The web picture shows roses and 5 lilies just on one side. The arrangement I sent had no roses and 3 lilies. Very disappointing. I sent Jan Dell's an email 3 days ago and they have yet to respond. more

Not Worthy of its Reputation: Terrible Customer Service 1/25/2010

I wanted to send my parents flowers for their 25th anniversary that were similar to their wedding flowers. I did my research and had the list ready to go for a custom arrangement. I called to inquire about creating and ordering this- and to get a price estimate and details for shipping, etc. The woman I talked on the phone with was incredibly, incredibly rude and more than willing to throw an $100 sale out the window. Needless to say, it made a happy occassion very stressful. I can't believe that store has such a great reputation and would never refer anyone there in the future. more

GREAT ARRANGEMENTS 7/24/2009

I have ordered flowers here for years. I do send them out of town, and the flowers shop they use have always made beautiful arrangements. Everyone is always pleased with the combination of flowers used in the arrangements. I would highly recommend them. more

I live in Charleston, South Carolina and always use Jan Dell to send flowers to my mother in Rocky River. They are consistently professional and easy to work with. Deliveries are on time, and my mother is thrilled when the JD truck pulls up in the driveway. Jan Dell makes living so far from my mother just a little less stressful. more

Wonderful Service 10/11/2007

Every time I call to order my children's corsages and flowers for school dances the gentleman in the store is fabulous! He is cheerful and very helpful, and entertains my sometimes strange requests. more

Very Unfriendly 6/2/2005

I know that this florist has a very good reputation around town but I was treated very rudely when I went in to inquire about wedding flowers. After keeping me waiting for a half hour, I was asked the date of my wedding and when the woman realized that it was the day before Mother's Day I was rudely told that they couldn't do it. I asked why not and was told that they wouldn't have the time since they are so busy then and that they make more off Mother's Day than a wedding so it wasn't worth it. The woman went so far as to tell me that I would not find a florist for that weekend and that I should consider picking a new wedding date. Sure, whatever. I did find a florist, very much cheaper than Jan Dell and quite a bit nicer and my flowers were absolutely gorgeous. more
