I finally decided to review this business after my second bad experience with them. The first was when they replaced the metal "shank" in a pair of shoes for me. It was very expensive ($45 I believe) and the shank they put in did not make the shoe wearable again as the heel still wiggled all over when I walked. The second bad experience is when I just called to ask the price to replace the plastic tip of a woman's heel. I specified that they were just basic stilletto heels and she refused to give me an estimate. She just kept saying "show me, show me". I explained again the very BASIC standard heel, smallest stilletto and she was very rude and refused to give me any type of information. This was not a difficult request and she was VERY unhelpful...just wanted to get me to drive there so she could look at it. Why? It's an everyday, easy repair. I would NOT reccomend spending your money here as the work quality is poor and their attitude is bad. Thanks for reading and hope this saves you from a bad experience! more

James Shoe Repair 17655 Harvard Ave. (Ralphs shopping Center) Harvard at Main. 949-833-9946 I found a great shoe repair place, and an exceptionally friendly couple who treated me like family…providing the ultimate customer service experience. They do incredible work at fair prices, and I left feeling good about having forged a new relationship. Although I didn't need it at the time they do custom work including ortho stuff. I had three pair of boots refurbished, and they worked a miracle. The boots were magically resurrected and to my delight came out looking BETTER than new. If all my shopping experiences were as pleasant as this one, I would be broke in a week. HIGHLY recommended… don’t hesitate to do business here, you will love them. more
