Who writes these reviews for them, their workers? They are anything, but friendly, attentive & Patty is definitely not nice. MAYBE THEY SHOULD EXPLAIN TO THE IRS WHY ALL PAYMENTS (EVEN SEVERAL MONTHS IN ADVANCE) MUST BE MADE IN CASH. They do charge tax, but only God knows where that goes. Maybe it's time for an audit? Beware of hidden costs! An FYI.... They had also misrepresented themselves as a BBB Accredited Business on their website. In April 2009, the BBB had to request that they cease and desist all unauthorized use of the BBB name and logo on its website and in its promotional materials. Since we are locked into a contract, we can only hope they can deliver what they promise. The experience up to this point has been anything but good. For a pleasurable, carefree experience go elsewhere!\r P..S.\r SL's review is completely accurate. I found it to be almost exactly my experience. Additionally, after having to pay everything in cash, why can't I add ANYTHING additional over the phone without having to pay CASH IN PERSON (months before wedding) ???????? more

I only used Jack and Rose since my banquet manager at Crest Hollow Country Club recommended them for me. Upon the first meeting at Jack and Rose, Jack was very rude to both me and my mother.\r We dealt with Patty for all my flowers, and she constantly talked down to us. At one point she left us in their dingy, dark, outdated, poor excuse of a showroom while she typed up our ""contract."" Fourty five minutes pass, and we go look at what was going on in their office. She was sitting their eating her lunch and just chatting with someone on the phone while she left us just sitting there!!\r She finally gave us the contract, so many things were in all CAPS, or highlighted yellow. Every other sentence had ""I understand that..""\r She hovered over me while she told me to put my initials at every little detail in the contract and to also add a sentence of why I like using them, which I did not.\r At the next design session, where I was to pick out flowers based on fresh ones, all she had to show me was a purple rose (which looked more like pink) an ugly white filler flower, and a white hydrangea. I asked her if there are any other flowers to look at, and she just gave me a blank look. So, I was forced to make do with what little selection they could provide. \r After researching flowers online, I saw that hydrangea came in purple, which was not told to me during the meeting. I called Patty and she told me that they cannot order them in purple, but can spray paint them purple.\r So many things went wrong with them that by the time it got to the day of my wedding I was nervous of the final product. That day gave me the most stress. Patty specifically told me that the $400 in delivery (which Jack and Rose was around the corner from Crest Hollow) was because she would be there all day to set up and fix anything if it went wrong. I NEVER saw anyone from Jack and Rose once during my wedding! My all white rose bouquet was wilting, some were turning brown, and then all of the petals started coming off. Jack & Rose needed to be called at their office to find them to replace my bouquet. I then had to take the rest of my pictures without my bouquet.\r Lastly, the contract stated I was to receive glass dishes for the centerpieces. They LIED- they were cheap dark green plastic dishes, which ruined the look of them. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE!\r more

Jack and Rose Florists took care of all of the flowers for my recent wedding in New Jersey on September 13,2013. Jack and Patty were very personable and friendly, making working with them a great experience. He was always willing to give his professional advice on ways to stay in my budget- even in aspects of the wedding that had nothing to do with flowers. Jack was very understanding and worked with me to bring costs down when I realized that I had gone over budget for the wedding. Jack and Patty really understood the woodsy theme I was going for. People are still talking about how beautiful, and unique, the flowers were for our wedding. I am not a person who takes time to write reviews unless I feel a vendor has really gone above and beyond. What Jack did for me was completely unexpected, extremely generous, and was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. In my effort to get back within our budget I had to cut my things, such as our video montage and flat screens, limos, and even the manzanita trees and ferns I had always dreamed of having for our forest themed wedding. When I entered the ballroom for the first time to see my centerpieces I was immediately brought to tears. Jack surprised me by giving me the manzanita trees I had always dreamed of having. As if that wasn't enough, he even delivered beautiful ferns that lined the aisle for my ceremony. Not many vendors out there would consider going out of their way for a bride and in the process take a financial hit, but Jack and Rose Florists did. Jack promised that I would love everything and words cannot express how much I did. If you want to work with someone who REALLY cares about his client and not just their wallet, this is the florist for you. \r Jack and Patty- We will NEVER forget what you did for us. We appreciate it more than words can say. more

I gave my caterer Cresthollow an Excellent review as well.\r These 2 companies made our wedding a dream come true.\r The dining room was a dream. It was full of color, the L.E.D. lights matched it all, the flowers, the colors so vibrant and perfect, and fresh.\r Creatively put together and so very helpful thru the process. Patty actually made it fun. She's a doll, and cordial and extremely helpful in her service skills.\r My mother always said, and believed you get out what you put in, so we put our sincerity first gave it to Patty to help, and appreciated her every move. I/we believe got us the results we wanted, we dreamed of, and better than we could of imagined. Trust Patty, and Jack Rose they will come thru for you. As my mom said you get back what you deliver, and we delivered her appreciation and we got so many compliments the day of our wedding. The flowers WOWED us. CRESTHOLLOW'S BEST FLORAL COMPANY\r This Company rocks! They made my heart skip a beat when I saw the flowers. They are awsome! \r First of all they are such nice people!\r My mother n law is a tough lady and they put up with her. They got allot of patience. She made them work for their money which wasn't much. She came up with idea after idea and JackRose put it together. Awesome! I liked them all. \r Jack was so courteous, so polite, so so professional in that he addressed us, greeted us, gave supporting ideas with the head designer Patty. They work so well together. The ideas kept flowing. One more thing surprised me. My mother n law is the kind of person that speaks with money upfront. She kept saying I'll pay for this and I'll pay for that, but jack Rose kept saying well wait and see. DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY. Let us work for you, let us show you different alternatives too, different colors, different flowers, different stands or vases, etc.\r Who does that!\r Jack & Rose's glass products was superior and showed its quality, while My girlfriends wedding had a cheap glass dish, they explained that allows for much more water for the florals and you would never ever cut yourself on, or your car seat, or damage anything in your house. It also allowed for a stronger base to build a large centerpiece too. I guess they really do know their stuff here too.\r Pricing is great! Flowers so Fresh! Nice delivery guy too. They work perfect with venue i think thats important\r Cresthollow and Jack and Rose came through for us.\r My DJ was another story, but the flowers made the wedding thank goodness more

My experience with Jack & Rose was wonderful. They were nice from the first meeting thru the others meetings. They provide and make available their time always and offer two follow appts and maybe more, as they help you achieve what you are looking for. These are free. The flowers are very fresh. their designs are very modern too. Staff so friendly and helpful, I love their espresso lol. an incredible showroom, it has everything you possibly want. i'd give them A+++++ I'm so excited.\r Oh by the way their contract is so simple and easy to read they actually type it up, so I had about a page of page and a half I was so glad they didn""t hand write it so I could read it. more

I was married a few months ago and I have to say that this was the best experience I have ever had. I've recently within the last few years graduated College and went on job interviews and fortunately and unfortunately have had 3 Human Resource career jobs and this florist really knows how to properly treat people. Yes they do! The moment you enter their quaint and tasteful 3 story building you get the feeling of success. The showroom I think they call it, is breathtaking, impeccable, so many gorgeous ideas, one after the other. So modern and some traditional. I have never seen so many diversified and creative ideas. The reason I am mentioning this is because I had no idea of what I wanted. This helped me tremendously to see many centerpieces and bouquets. \r The staff is knowledgeble which made the choosing selecting process non stressful. Patty really knows her flowers and is excellent with colors and ideas. At times I thought I may have been noncommittal, but Patty's patience and winning personality helped me to stay calm and get me where I needed to be. The pricing is great! The service terrific! I was surrounded by service throughout my day. My bridal attendant dropped my bridal bouquet by accident, and Mike of JackRose was there to help repair it. That was huge! I couldn't believe the service. My Dad wanted to shout with happiness. They were familiar with the venue. Now I can see why they all recommend this place.\r Oh by the way the owner came by on my wedding day to make sure I was 100% happy. I ran up to hug and kiss him. He was so nice and to contribute his time to extend CARE was another biggy for us.\r Very Very Happy! more

BREATHTAKING POSITIVE EXPERIENCE\r I was bride that came into Jack and Rose not knowing what I wanted. I didn't even know the correct number in my bridal party, and what colors I would be wanting. I was so stressed and confused until I met with Patty. Oh my goodness, she is like the best! She was so friendly, and thoughtful, and while she just had surgery she hobbled along on crutches to find flowers, and discuss colors to help me, I felt so bad in that I know she was in genuine physical pain coming off surgery, but she said this is what I do. I cant say enough. Fiance' took a break and went out for a snack, even though Jack and Rose has coffee and espresso and snacks, I guess he wanted a break.\r He brought back some paninis and offered one to Patty who was working so hard for us. She said no thank you, but how can I expect her to just work and work without a drink or a bite, aren't we human, so she took a little donut which made us happy especially since she was so hospitable to us always. She wouldn't stop hobbling on crutches and wouldn't stop to eat her lunch, incredible.\r Her ideas were right on, she had my vision. On the wedding day everything came out as I wanted it\r The bridal bouquet, the maids, the bridesmaids, I even gave patty my rhinestone jewelry which she helped to add to bouquets. Would you believe that she didn't even charge me for that. We thought that was big. Everything lasted all day. Photo guy was impressed.\r Centerpieces knocked everyone's socks off they were what I wanted, large, but not too large, fresh, colors were vibrant, When everyone came in the room they were shocked, actually I was too. We were blown away by the flowers of Jack and Rose and there serviced was great and they are very nice people too. I love their showroom taken from the historic ages of the 1800s and they said President McKinley was here too. I wonder if he got his flowers here? lol Its a wonderful exciting building and so modern inside with L.E.D. lights and other stuff really cool\r try it out glad we did\r \r \r \r \r more

What a Great Experience! so friendly so attentive so caring Patty was so very nice I cant imagine how anyone would say anything other than this. She was limping around coming off surgery and we felt so bad that she was hobbling around to get us flowers ribbons colors. she just wouldnt stop trying to help us. So pleasing a person. groom wanted to take her home imagine that? the wedding was so beautiful there flowers so bright and perky gave us so much more than we paid for. gifts here gifts there. Cresthollow recommends them cause the other flower shops have many problems. when we were there first time we witnessed a problem other flower company was missing stuff bride ordered and she was upset. so they explained that jackrose is so near and caterers to them at cresthollow. Above all we were blown away by the gorgeaous presentation, and the hospitality that seemed never ending. Actually i am more of a shy reserved type, and i appreciated the one on one help that Patty gave me,\r She was so nice\r \r more

AMAZING continue to do what you are doing\r wonderful wonderful people. my goodness, so caring, and genuine(hard to find real people today). They worked hand in hand with our banquet manager that was huge for fiance.\r they offered many service meetings which shocked me. after all they are just flowers right? but they made me feel right and made many suggestions and offered many discounts. I dont know why someone complained about their contract seems like a sneaky person maybe its another florist cause there papers are only about the order you place, and they go over every part of it which to me shows they care. the flowers were so very fresh and lasted over 2 weeks my guests called about my wedding but most all called to say the flowers were incredible.\r thank you JackRose more

GLAD SWAN CLUB told us to go here. They are so nice. Very efficient too. They have many people to help you and guide you thru the decisions of color flowers designs. We were lost until we met with Patty. She is so nice and brought me into this large room with so many modern new ideas. I was wowed i guess you can say. They explain everything up front. I loved their agreement order form because it is so simple 1 page and it explains everything. They also took the time to read it to us. I liked that so we could see what the entire cost would be because we were paying for all of the flowers ourselves with no help from parants so it was all on us and JackRose helped us alot! They deliver early there was alot of time. We were so happy! more

I and Brad were married 3 weeks ago. The flowers were Incredible. Better than wew ever expected!\r I am told I am a picky girl. My friends tell me to get real, but Jack&Rose went so far over my expectations that i was ready to cry. They gave me everything I wanted and so much more. The flowers were so fresh, so beautiful, from the bouquets to the corsages to the cake to the centerpieces. so so beautiful.\r Guests were fighting to take them all home. \r They were so easy to work with. They give you plenty of appt times, so flexable, and so nice. there team was always ready to help us. Day of was great too. They came so early, they beat the photographer by an hour or more. He was surprised too. reception was set up before we got to the venue.\r what a great experience. Why waste time specualating to go elsewhere where here your dreams can come reality as they did for us. We will be forever grateful! more

SINCE THE FIRST PHONE CALL IT WAS SO RIGHT! FIANCE AND I ARE BOTH ATTORNEYS. WE WORK A HARD LONG SCHEDULE. JACK AND ROSE WAS SO ACCOMAODATING ALWAYS. THEY MADE THEIR TIME AVAILABLE OVER AND BEYOND THEIR NORMAL HOURS OF BUSINESS. WE THOUGHT THAT WAS HUGE. THEY HAVE A HUGE BUILDING ALL RELATED TO WEDDINGS. THEY HAVE A PRIVATE SHOWROOM WHICH HAS SO MANY DESIGNS OF THINGS. THEY SCHEDULE PRIVATE MEETINGS WITH US AND OBLIGED OUR CRAZY SCHEDULE . WE ARE SO PLEASED, AND MOST OF ALL EVERYONE KEPT TALKING ABOUT THE FLOWERS, AND REALLY NOTHING ELSE. YES EVERY VENDOR WAS GOOD, BUT JACK ROSE WAS OVER WHELMINGLY FANTASTIC. I CANT THINK OF ANYTHING AT ALL, EVEN IF I CONCENTRATED ON ON THIS THAT WOULDN'T BE RATED AS EXCELLENT. THEIR TEAM WAS SO NICE THEIR IDEAS KEPT COMING, AND FLOWEERS SO FRESH. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY WHEN FIANCE AND I WERE SO STRESSED, THEY GAVE US CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN OTHER VENDORS DIDNT. THEY DELIVERED EVERYTHING WE PURCHASED AND GAVE US MANY MORE FINISHING TOUCHES THAT EVEN IMPRESSED THOMAS AND ALL DELIVERIES CAME SO EARLY. AT MY HOUSE THEY WERE OVER AN HOUR EARLY AND AT VENUE THEY CAME AN HOUR AND A HALF EARLY AND WERE FINISHED DECORATING BEFORE THE COCKTAIL HOUR EVEN STARTED. GREAT JOB! more

Hello ladies, my name is Lisa and I am the happiest newlywed in the world. \r My wedding was such a spectacular event, thanks to ""Jack and Rose Florists"". \r My flowers were oh so beautiful, just like Patty promised...(she is so \r talented). \r I will be forever grateful to both Jack and Patty for their patience, \r professionalism and \r the perfect arrangements they made. \r Patty walked me through the selection process and contract signing with such a \r kind and patient attitude...(I was so nervous). \r Jack was nothing but a complete gentleman to my husband and I, explaining to us \r both that it was natural to be very nervous when preparing for the big day. \r At the end of the reception, everyone wanted to know who made the flowers. \r Ladies...go see Jack and Patty, at Jack and Rose Florists... \r they are simply THE BEST!!! \r more

When I had my wedding in April, we booked Jack & Rose. They were terrible. The flowers were late getting to the house so we were late to the wedding. When the flowers arrived, they looked droopy and dead. The photographer didn't want us to use the bouquets in the pictures they were so bad. Jack & Rose was also late putting flowers on the tables at the venues. The maitre d had to call them. When they did arrive, the centerpieces looked so awful I almost cried. I had to ""sign off"" on the flowers and the representative from the florist had the audacity to ask me to write something wonderful about them next to my signature. No one wanted to take the flowers home from the wedding. The Wednesday following the wedding we called to let them know how disappointed we were. Patty said she was sorry we felt that way and hung up. I honestly don't know at this point what is worse- the fact that the flowers were terrible or the fact that they didn't care. Don't book them. more

We had a great experience here They gave us so much time and attention to every detail. So polite and caring. A very good experience. Other places we shopped were like an assembly line, we felt as though we were a number, and weren't as helpful; But here Fiance' and I went here and found them to be very experienced and knowledgeable about fulfilling our needs. They do show you all the flowers that you will be getting up front. There are no surprises. They explain everything to you. They gave us many ideas, and worked with our budget. The flowers were so fresh and lasted thru the church and reception lasted all night more

Jack and Rose were recommended by Swan Club. Perhaps they would have been more accommodating for a larger budget, but I was worn down by the time I dealt with Jack and his asst, Patty. Sorry I caved. They didn't provide the color I wanted (and sent pictures of), left petals for the caterer to have strewn (which never made it to the tables) and were unavailable once they had money in hand. Jack was rude when doing the contract (I should've walked then!) and then tried to regroup and smile. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. I had wanted specific things spelled out on the contract, and he balked that ""we are a multi-million dollar company and don't rip people off!"" Wish I'd read some of the other reviews before. There are so many florists out there, and this is the one area I feel I truly made a mistake with in my beautiful wedding--the florist! Choose wisely with someone who leaves you with a good feeling. Do NOT be backed into a corner. Leave and think about your treatment at the shop and whether you were pushed into signing right then and there for a ""deal""! You can always go back, OR NOT. Smaller, more intimate shops may offer more personalized service. more

I WISH I COULD GIVE 10 GOLD STARS!!!\r \r SINCE OUR WEDDING IS OVER, I CAN NOW GIVE AN """"HONEST"""" REVIEW OF JACK & ROSE. AT FIRST I DIDN'T KNOW WHY ALL OF THE POPULARITY, BUT AFTER MEETING THEM THEY ARE SO NICE AND OUTGOING HELPFUL, AND IT CONTINUED!!! IT ACTUALLY GOT BETTER! WHILE MY OTHER VENDORS DID NOT MAKE TIME AVAILABLE, OR WERE DIFFICULT AT TIMES, JACK & ROSE ACTUALLY WANTED TO SEE US, AND OVER AND OVER IF NECESSARY BECAUSE AS I LEARNED....THEY CARED!! I DONT UNDERSTAND ANY POSSIBLE NEGATIVE COMMENTS UNLESS IT IS ANOTHER FLORIST TRYING TO BRING NEG THOUGHTS ABOUT THEM. IF YOU HAVE DELT WITH THEM YOU TRULY KNOW THAT THEY ARE GENUINELY NICE PEOPLE, THEIR DESIGNS ARE MODERN AND TRADITIONAL AND SERVICE LIKE IVE NEVER SEEN, YES I ADDED STUFF, BUT I ""EXPECT"" TO PAY FOR IT!! VERY HAPPY, CREATIVE FLOWERS, i liked the various textures of different flowers.\r colors were great too. they gave me whatever i wanted, very suggestive, and helpful.\r gave a few appts whenever i wanted, i liked their willingness to please me.\r chuppa was so elegant and different.\r centerpieces were great too. i had 20 different centerpieces throughtout the dining room. They worked with my budget. Sample centerpieces were always perfect!\r Delivery man was nice too, very helpful.\r caterer said they never have had problems with this company.\r \r they were right!\r Very happy!\r \r more

AFTER CAREFUL REVIEW I HAVE CHANGED MY MIND SINCE THE FLOWERS WERE ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND AS MANY PEOPLE SAID ""BREATHTAKING""!!!\r JACK & ROSE IS THE ""COMPANY"" I HIRED, AND THEY CREATED, AND DESIGNED, AND DELIVERED ALL FRESH FLOWERS BEUTIFULLY ARRANGED IN A PERFECT TIMELY MANOR. ALL PERSONEL WERE ALWAYS PLEASANT, AND PROFESSIONAL, AND CARING, INCLUDING JACK HIMSELF, WHO SEEMED TO ALWAYS WALK IN, AND/OR LISTEN FOR A ""HANDS ON"" APPROACH.
