Dora is the only stylist I use. I called on Monday to try to schedule an appointment and was told that she was booked until the middle of June. I thought I would try today. I spoke with Kaitlyn and she made it happen. J Thompson has the best quality and most professional group of people and products there. more

Price List vs Results 2/11/2009

While the facade of the builiding and the interior are very nice, I 'm not sure that the raving reviews you're reading about on this website regarding the services are appropriate. The prices are very high especially considering the current economic situation in this country. You can get similar cuts/colors for much less money and with better results at other more reasonably priced salons. I can appreciate paying top dollar for top dollar techniques and results but I don't feel you're getting your money's worth at this salon. What you're paying for is the over-the-top interior remodeling project. If you decide to visit the salon, check the price list before going and take lots of money. Pros: Nice facade Cons: High prices more

The Best Around 2/6/2009

I have been going to J Thompson for almost 2 years. My husband and I both get our hair done there, and we LOVE it. Cindy is our designer, and she is nothing short of fantastic. The customer service is wonderful; the designers are all knowledgeable and friendly. I hired Cindy and several of the other girls to do my bridesmaids' hair, my mom's hair, and my hair and make-up for my wedding. Everyone's hair turned out looking spectacular. Brett and Jennifer had drinks and mints and snacks for all of us, too! It really took away much of the anxiety I was feeling that morning. I have recommended this salon to a number of friends, and they all love it there too! I can't say enough good things about them! more

Ask for Rachel!! The stylist with a lot of ""heart"". 2/4/2009

I've been going to Rachel for over a year now and have always been happy. She is a young gal with an eye for perfection when coloring, cutting and styling your hair. She truly seems to love what she does and that makes the experience even better. For someone (myself) who is turning 40 this year, but still wants to stay trendy and up to date, Rachel totally seems to understand what I want . I look forward to my appointments which I think are well worth the cost. Love the J. Thompson color conditioners. Pros: Great products and service. more

Rebecca at J Thompson is a great hairdresser with an awesome attitude. The salon owners and their staff are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable the minute you walk in the door.... it makes you feel like you know each one personally. They are very knowledgeable about getting just the right hair color to match your skin tone and are in fashion with cutting current hair styles. I'm a big fan! Excellent Salon! 12/25/2008

After a really bad highlight job somewhere else the day before, I desperately needed a color correction. I called that morning and they got me in that afternoon. I saw Jennifer and she really saved me. She knew exactly what to do to remedy the problem. She took her time and did what needed to be done, even staying an hour past closing (in spite of the fact that it was Christmas Eve) to finish my hair and educate me on what she was doing. Her expertise and knowledge were amazing. The customer service from everyone there was excellent and they were very friendly as well. I'm so glad I found them, they really saved the day. more

My hair is short and thick and Meredith knew exactly from day one that I was a good candidate for razor-cutting to texturize and style my hair. Meredith is one of the friendliest and sweetest people; which seems to be the norm at J Thompson .... from the front desk to the shampoo bowls it's a friendly, comfortable place .... I truly believe that their customer service sets them miles apart from any other salon. Jennifer and Brett Thompson have a remarkable team and a beautiful salon .... I highly recommend Meredith and the rest of the team at J Thompson Salons. more
