Dont do it!!! Had us wait all day for a tech (with no hot water) and called at the end of the day to say they wouldn't be coming more

I know how you feel, these people are just money hungry crooks. Hadda job not too long ago and prior to signing the agreement the boss made it seems like he was going to be fine and the work will be finished relatively quick. Once that agreement was signed and the deposit was made it was SO HARD to contact the boss to see where my job stands. After numerous threats on my end to cancel/get refunded WEEKS later (practically a month!) I finally I get a response, THESE PEOPLE ARE TERRIBLE! HOMEOWNERS, RENTERS BEWARE!!!! I won't even hire these people to snake out my tub! more

Had issues with my water heater and called the manufacturer AO Smith who told me I had to use an authorized dealer they put me in touch with JL Heating. AO said I was covered for parts and labor due to the nature of the issue. JL came to my home and the tech said I was covered and did not need to pay a dime. He said they needed to order a Dip Tube and it would be delivered to my home, once it arrived I would have to call them and they would come install it for free. Once the tech left about a half hour later the office called and said the Dip Tube is the only part that was not covered and I had to pay for it. I was desperate and paid. I asked them if that was all and they said yes installation is covered. The part arrived and I called to schedule an appointment they kept telling me they would call me back, they were very busy, finally 2 days later (Mind you I have no hot water) then called me and said yeah we can install it for $165.00. I said you told me I was covered under the manufacturer and he said no that was for the first visit only. Just so you know I asked all the right questions upfront, I am not made of money so I made sure I understood the terms and exactly how much I would have to shell out. Bottom line, they kept changing there story and when I questioned the owner who was extremely rude, he told me that was the price take it or leave it. I now have to call another plumber to help me. Do not use these people. Trust me they got one good review and I guarantee the woman is a relative or the boss himself. They stink, they are crooks, Beware. more

WE HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY PATIENT WITH THIS COMPANY IN TERMS OF PAYMENT. THEY CURRENTLY HAVE TWO INVOICES THAT ARE NOW (1) YEAR OLD. THEY WOULD PROMISE PARTIAL PAYMENTS BUT NEVER LIVE UP TO IT. I WOULD CALL FOR PAYMENTS AND THE ANSWER WOULD BE THE A/P IS NOT IN UNTIL A FEW DAYS LATER OR SO. HORRIBLE WAY OF MAKING BUSINESS. more

I hired this company to do work in my bathroom. When I called about a question with regards to the bill, I spoke to some woman with a thick accent, sounded spanish, who said she did the billing. I asked what the breakdown of the charges were as I could not read everything that was hand written. The woman said I would have to speak with the boss to answer any questions with regards to the bill.\r \r You would think someone that does the billing could answer billing questions but she had no idea what I was talking about and tried to pass me off to the boss who wasn't even in the office and told me to call back.\r \r One simple question turned into the most excrutiating experience. Don't use this company, apparently the boss thinks it's ok to hire people who you can't understand and can't answer any questions. more

I have to say I'm sorry you had a bad experience. My husband and I had a new bathroom and kitchen recently installed. The workers they sent to us were very good! They were recommended to us by a friend, and we feel our experience was good. We will recommend JL Heating to anyone who needs a good plumber! more

This company did not provide the invoice for the repair they performed at my residence and left the premise without collecting a signature. Called them many times to request the invoice to no avail. Last time I called the guy who took my order initially started shouting and cussing. Don't even think about going to them Cons: Rude and irate staff. Very unprofessional! more
