Review content:
Had issues with my water heater and called the manufacturer AO Smith who told me I had to use an authorized dealer they put me in touch with JL Heating. AO said I was covered for parts and labor due to the nature of the issue.
JL came to my home and the tech said I was covered and did not need to pay a dime. He said they needed to order a Dip Tube and it would be delivered to my home, once it arrived I would have to call them and they would come install it for free. Once the tech left about a half hour later the office called and said the Dip Tube is the only part that was not covered and I had to pay for it. I was desperate and paid. I asked them if that was all and they said yes installation is covered. The part arrived and I called to schedule an appointment they kept telling me they would call me back, they were very busy, finally 2 days later (Mind you I have no hot water) then called me and said yeah we can install it for $165.00. I said you told me I was covered under the manufacturer and he said no that was for the first visit only. Just so you know I asked all the right questions upfront, I am not made of money so I made sure I understood the terms and exactly how much I would have to shell out. Bottom line, they kept changing there story and when I questioned the owner who was extremely rude, he told me that was the price take it or leave it. I now have to call another plumber to help me. Do not use these people. Trust me they got one good review and I guarantee the woman is a relative or the boss himself. They stink, they are crooks, Beware.
