I have been taking my dog there for months. They are always accommodating, my dog loves them. He's well cared for.I love their skill and care. The best groomers I have ever had.\r I travel over 30 minutes to get to there, it is well worth it more

Sharon and staff at J&J are wonderful groomers and genuinely love our animals. They are excellent stylists, meticulous in their care and thorough in bathing them. All our ""buddies"" are excited when they first arrive and gorgeous when they depart. Very much indebted to J&J for their awesome service and loving care of our beloved dogs. Great staff and prices, Excellent Grooming I pass up several Groomers on the way but for the service and great experience I have had with J & J Grooming I would not go any place other than J &J I drive from Trafalgar Indiana for my dogs. Instead of locking your pet in a cage they will make a bed in a room and your pet is totally relaxed and fills like it is at home. Great place for your pets the Owner and Staff are very experienced and friendly. And Jennifer N. you are 100% Wrong (The staff is ridiculously rude) Not they treat you and your pet like family. If you have a pet you Love you will be very Happy. more

Both my mom and I have taken our dogs to this business for grooming. I have taken my dog twice and my mom once, based on my recommendation. They do excellent work and I always try to give my money to a locally owned business over a chain. I would rate their grooming service as 5 stars. They really are very good. more

Goodbye, winter bulk; Hello, summer svelte!! The fine ladies at J&J Grooming took my dog's coat from hot and heavy, to short and sizzling in no time. My furry friend has some serious emotional issues with blow dryers, but the staff helped her feel comfortable while shedding her locks. She looked smooth and still got to keep some of her fur without have to go bald on her backside just because it would be easier for the groomer. \r \r Prices were totally reasonable and comparable to the big box groomers. The shop was clean and the ladies were clearly experienced working with hesitant and scared pups. So glad we moved on from our big box store groomer. I have seen the previous reviews and I can only speak for myself and my experience. I would advise anyone that loves their family pet to stay away from this low grade business! The owner is very very very rude and unprofessional all the way around the board. She started of by not speaking and apologized saying she was busy and had much to do. I personally feel of you can't handle a busy day at work get help or don't do walk in's. I have a dog that had a previous injury and could not stand for long. I explained this to the owner before I brought her. She agreed to do her grooming anyhow. I thought that is was a good idea to ensure my baby would be treated well and handles with care so I made sure I reminded her of the situation dealing with the injury. I wanted to also make sure she would be ready later that afternoon to go to a vet visit I then was told by the owner I have a doctors appt myself I didn't know I was being timed (In a very angry voice)! I then said that I could come another time or take my pup elsewhere she then said let me see how long she can stand and took plopped her on the table and zipped the side of her facial hair off...I did not like that. I said if you think you are too busy I can take her. She then said ""No I can do her I just don't know when"". I said well I'll call back to check and then I left, but as the minutes passed I couldn't stomach how rude she was. I then called and said that I was being treated unfairly and disrespectful and I would just be there to pick my pup up. She then said ""Well I already started"". I said I would pay for what you did, but I wanted to get her she then started talking badly about my dog saying she wouldn't be still and so on. I let her know I was sensitive about my pup and her situation. She proceeded to talk bad so I said I was close and would get her. The owner then said I'll have her ready. And continued to bad talk my dogs behavior. I was in tears at that point and said how bad could a small dog be? She then hung up on me after yelling again that she would have her ready. I walked in and she was speedily trying to do my dog while I was there. I just looked at her as she rush from the table to hand me my dog whose hair was butchered. I explained I didn't like the rush cut she said well hey that's the best I can do for her. I then asked her why did she hang up on me and that it was very unprofessional she then said she hung up because she didn't have time to keep listening to me talk about nothing! I asked her why did she agree to do her if she was going to complain about it as if it was a inconvience. She then start yelling so I turned and walked out. I said I should not have to pay for such a sad service and rudeness. She ran behind me calling me various names as I slowly walked to my car as I shook my head in sadness. She kept yelling as I drive off. more

I had been taking my first dog for at least 1 year, probably closer to 2 and never had any problems. When we first started going i found the rates for a small dog to be very reasonable (around $20-$25) and sufficient. Customer service was good both when i called and when i would take our dog and pick her up. However, today was a different story. I took in our dog that was a regular as well as our 4 month old puppy for the first time. I was greeted by (who i believe to be the owner) commenting that the puppy was "matted" and was this her first time being groomed? First off, i would hardly call the puppy matted, she is a puppy with lots of thick PUPPY HAIR, definitely not any mats. I explained to the owner that i didn't think these were mats and that she had been frequently bathed and brushed and that yes it was her first time because all of her puppy shots had just been completed about 2 weeks ago...and she is only 4 months old! I've only met Shannon a few times, but I've been taking my dogs to J&J Grooming for 4+ years. I will also say, that I've know Jen for the greater part of my life, and she is a dear family friend, so this review, may or may not be bias. However, I am a very honest person, and would not recommend even family if they did not deserve it. Jen is an amazing groomer, and cares more about animals than she does herself. She does this because she loves animals, and she loves taking care of them. I will also state, that she wouldn't take crap from a customer, regardless of who they were. As a business manager myself, I understand now allowing a customer (or in my case client), sitting around the office waiting for something all day. All that does is distract employees and prevent productive work. \r \r All in all, if you want an amazing grooming experience, take your dogs to J&J, you won't be disappointed! more
