12/15/14 I called my warranty company to have someone come out to fix my dryer. I get a call from J & B to schedule an appt on 12/26/14 between 3-5 pm. Get a call a msg on 12/24/14 to confirm appt. I call them on 12/26/14 first thing in the morning, tell them I am smelling gas periodically from my stove and wondered if they could also do a different work order for that on the same day. Told them I didn't think my warranty company covers gas leaks. They said sure, just tell the tech when he gets there, so I don't make calls to find anyone else to come out for my stove. \r

5:15, I call, office closed, so left a msg. Called again at 6:15 left another msg. He was a complete no show and no call. Called next morning at 9:15 am and was told they had no idea he never showed up. Rescheduled me for that day between 4-6. I reminded them I needed the tech to check my stove, again no problem.\r
\r
Russ calls a little after 4 pm to tells me it will be closer to 6 when he gets there. I took that opportunity to tell him about the stove and the office said he could do that today as well. Said he knew nothing about it and would call office to get a work order for it. \r
\r
He shows up well after 6, proceeds to tell me he doesn't have the tools to check the stove. Needless to say I wasn't very happy as I could have called someone else the day before to come fix the stove. He checks my dryer and says he has to order the part but can't do that until Monday since no one is open on Sundays. Then comments, never make service call appt. on the weekends, they can't order parts on Sundays. Told him if he had bothered to show up yesterday then the part could have been ordered today. \r
\r
Told him I was upset about the stove. He says if I'm prepared to pay the service fee, he'll check it. Really, does he think I'm an idiot, says he has no tools and now if I pay he'll check it. Told him I made other arrangements already.\r

Called warranty company to complain, find out they do cover gas leaks, they sent someone out right away. The guy just needed to tighten the connection from the gas line to the stove. All he needed was my dish soap, water, a bowl and his wrench. Not sure what special tools Russ from J & B needed. \r
\r
A week later I get a call saying Russ was going to pick my part up that day, so she needed to get me on the schedule. Next available was a week later. I told her considering they mess up with my previous appt and not coming prepared for my stove, they should accommodate me by fitting me in sooner. Made no effort to accommodate, told me she is the one who made the calls when Russ went home sick and she knows she called me. I told her she did not!\r
\r
Made my appt for 01/9/15 at 3 pm. On 1/8/15 received a message to confirm appt from 1:30 to 3:00. I called them back, told the guy that my appt was for 3:00, but I could be available at 2:30. Said he would make a note of the time. \r
\r
Appt, day arrives, I get a message at 2:10 that Russ was one his way but realized he didn't have all the parts and the motor is another 2 to 3 days out. I call them back right away.\r
\r
I asked how can they make an appt and not know they don't have all the parts. Told him I was told Russ was picking up the part the day they called me to schedule the appt. Told me he would see if they can come on Monday to fix it. I told him I have already complained to my warranty company and I would be calling to complain to them again. I also asked to have the owner of J & B call me. Told me he would leave him a note to call. \r
\r
I called my warranty company, they are filing a formal complaint with their contractors department. She also called J & B told they would have Russ call her.\r
\r
Two hours later I call J & B since no call from the owner and was told by a female that he never returns calls. So here I am on appt day with no working dryer \r
\r
Avoid this company, it's been a nightmare dealing with them.
