Beautiful property in downtown. Easy to walk to/from the aquarium and if you are up for a walk you can take the trail towards the wharf or towards lover's point.

Beautiful property in downtown. Easy to walk to/from the aquarium and if you are up for a walk you can take the trail towards the wharf or towards lover's point. more

This is a very nice property and I love the location. It allows you to walk all over town. Near the aquarium too. The rooms with a view are the best. Very beautiful hotel, great service. more

Great hotel, location, service 12/19/2008

The hotel is new and they're running Internet specials. Great location--adjacent to Monterey Bay acquirium. Can walk to all Cannery Row attractions (if you can call them that). Parking was valet-only. Pool was a lap pool but the kids loved it anyway. Fireplace, cool indoor stairs, right on the waterfront. Good plumbing. Given how absurd hotel prices are in the Monterey Bay area, this was a bargain. more

We stayed here the first week it was open. It is a very beautiful hotel. The guest services were very kind and helpful. We had a great room with a view. It is located right in the heart of Monterey where you can walk everywhere. more

Monterey's Nicest 5/27/2008

the accommodations and staff nailed it. 5 1/2 stars. i hope their friendliness isn't just this nice because they just opened their doors. It was one of the best stays i have ever had. the rooms are very tastefully decorated and everything is BRAND NEW. Highly recommend staying here if you want to do it right. Pros: clean, new, nice, roomy Cons: the water in the jacuzzi wouldnt get very hot, it was warm at best. no screens on windows so insects got in. more
