My granddaughter has been a student here for two years and is so happy. She has learned so much and has passes the level of her cousins by far and they have been dancing years lon...

Worst

Completely unprofessional and unethical. My daughter cannot attend summer camp, so we cancelled 3 months early (April, for a July camp). No costs incurred by Insp Acad, no service...

This place is the AMAZING! The best ever. The teachers are awesome and the place is always so clean. I can't say enough about how much my daughter has learned and she is so happy. She can't wait until it's time for class each week. And, we feel so at home here. Everybody just cares so much. It really is a studio filled with love and we are continually impressed by the level of improvement she is making. JUST AMAZING! more

Simply put, they are the best that Hampton Roads has to offer! My daughter danced for a number of years at different local studios, and though each had a few good things to offer (some had nothing good to offer), none of them had what we were looking for, until we found Inspiration Academy. They are truly a fantastic school, with superb instructors and teaching methods, excellent prices, and owners that really do care and love the students. My child has had so much fun at this studio, and learned leaps and bounds over what she learned else where. Sadly we are a military family and have had to leave the area, but I want to thank Inspiration Academy for everything they have done for us and given to my daughter...Our four years there will be ones we won't soon forget. I absolutely recommend them and if you don't try them out, you might miss out on something incredible. As for any negative comments you may see on the net, it may be personal disgruntlement, because I never saw anything negative or anyone treated unfairly in this school in the four years we were there, and we were there a lot! more

My granddaughter has been a student here for two years and is so happy. She has learned so much and has passes the level of her cousins by far and they have been dancing years longer. The level of progress is much higher here and we are so proud of her. We attended the end of year show and were absolutely amazed at the performers. It was a beautiful show and all of the kids felt like super stars. This is an excellent studio and we have told everyone we can. more

I want to say that Inspiration Academy for the Performing Arts is a fabulous studio with an excellent program curriculum. My two children have been here five years and we are extremely pleased. They LOVE going to dance and theater, they love their instructors, and best of all they are learning and happy. Things are all in all very organized and very well stated ahead of time. As for the owner, you will not find a more loving and caring person to your kids anywhere. She bends over backwards to work with people, their accounts, schedules, and hardships. I would recommend this school to anyone that is looking for a fun and safe environment for their kids, a great school to learn techniques properly, and also a place where everyone is treated fairly and equal! If there were a ten star rating I would have given them that! more

I have danced at this facility since the place has been opened. Within those 5 years I honestly could say I wouldn't choose any other studio to dance at. The facility is very professional and instructors are the best in Virginia Beach. They are so caring for the students and very educated in what they do. Not only do I enjoy every class I take but I love knowing that I'm also progressing as well as having so much fun. Once I walked through the doors I instantly became part of a family not just another student like some studios. Most times my mother has to drag me out because I just never want to leave. If your looking for a studio in Virginia Beach I highly suggest this one ! (: more

Outstanding! Friendly staff, professional teachers and a clean and spacious facility. We've been a part of this studio for all five years it's been open and every year things get better and better! My daughter, not only loves dancing, art, and theater, but in the summer she can't wait to be enrolled in the Inspiration summer camp! She meets new friends, stays active and I never hear... ""I'm BORED!!!!"". My child is always excited to come to class and eager to see what new things she will learn! I highly recommend Inspiration Academy. more

Amazing Place & Best Summer Camp In All Of Hampton Roads! 5/11/2012

We love this place. My child has taken classes at Inspiration Academy and has attended their summer camp for the past two summers as well and we can't say enough about how great it is. This summer camp has so many different activities that she never wants to leave and she can hardly stop talking when I pick her up. If you ask her what her favorite thing is-she says EVERYTHING! We have sent her to several different camps in the past and now all she wants to do is spend her summer here. My friend told us it was a great place and that we would love it. She was right. It is the BEST! more

Don't Even Consider them 4/25/2012

Completely unprofessional and unethical. My daughter cannot attend summer camp, so we cancelled 3 months early (April, for a July camp). No costs incurred by Insp Acad, no services provided, no dispute over non-refundable reg fee of $25. But, they do NOT need our $150. They have plenty of time to fill all spots, and the legal small print on the web page states, Payment and Cancellation: The non-refundable registration fee and the deposit of, at least one week fee per camper, MUST accompany this application, to reserve your spot in camp. (NOTE: the reg fee is clearly non-refundable - the deposit is NOT stated so) There are NO refunds for absences, as you are paying for your spot, whether the camper is in camp or not. (NOTE: My daughter is not absent - we are canceling 3 MONTHS in advance) There are no refunds for change of sessions or withdrawals after camp starts. (NOTE: we are not changing sessions, nor has camp started) Change of session is subject to availability. Payments are due one week prior to the session you are planning on attending. more

Top rate-The best of the best! 4/23/2010

I don't usually take the time to write reviews but thought I should share something possitive with others. This is an excellent dance school. Well, it's not just a dance studio, they have theater classes and art classes. You can even take voice lessons or piano and guitar lessons. I don't have to be a taxi cab driver anymore. My daughter can take the dance lessons she loves and also enjoys art and theater and can't wait to start her voice lessons in the fall. The place is wonderful (not the shoebox type places we have visited). There is an amazing staff and they REALLY care about the kids. My daughter has been there for almost two years and has learned twice as much as I could have ever imagined, not to mention how she looks forward to going every week. I have to say they are very affordable (not cheap though), no hidden fees and top quality costumes. My daughter is able to take all of the classes she wants without me having to take out a second mortgage to pay for it. We love it and are glad to share. Pros: Warm/Friendly, Affordable, Very large and clean facility Cons: Can't think of any-love it there. more
