I found Dr. Saperstein to be a very good physician. I have a problem with osteoarthritis in my left DIP joint of my left small finger. Dr. Saperstein was honest enough to send me to Dr. Schwartz an orthopedic hand surgeon for a second opinion. Dr Schwartz confrimed I do indeed have osteoarthritis of my DIP joint of my left small finger. I was told by both doctors the arthritis will spread in to other joints in my phalanges and as well as my hand joints. I will need hand surgery in the future, but for now pain management will work. I will be seeing a pain management doctor until surgery is needed. For 6 months my knee was hurting bad. One visit to Dr. Saperstein and one quick arthroscopy later the pain was gone. This guy's a miracle worker. He definitely gets a big thumbs up. Pros: Great surgeon more

Dr. Saperstein did a great job fixing my knee. He knew exactly what the problem was and he was able to correct it with a minor operation. He's got a great bedside manner and he really knows what he's doing. His office staff is very friendly (and nice looking). I would definitely recommend him to anyone with an orthopedic problem. I went to Dr. Saperstein for my left finger and left wrist. He He took ex rays of my left hand and wrist. He did send me for an MRI of my left wrist and not my hand and fingers. the MRI report showed I have a gangolin cyst. . Dr. Saperstein stated to me I had arthritis of my small finger. He told me to take Advil for the pain. He would not inmobilzied my left hand and wirst. He told me to use my hand and wrist even if it swells. On the last visit, Dr. Saperstein told me he can't treat me anymore and go see a hand specilist and do not come back to him.. I recieved my medical records from Dr. Saperstein's office today. Some of my medical records were changes and he put nothing about he released me from his care. I would not recomend Dr. Alan Saperstein to anybody. I feel Dr. Saperstein has done nothing to help my medical condition, he should have released me from his care after the MRI report results came back . more
