Inka Mama???s brings Peruvian cuisine to Foothill Ranch, CA 3/4/2012

Bistec Apanado is pounded top sirloin steak covered in garlic, lightly breaded, pan-fried, and served with salad and rice. It?s the Peruvian version of the country-fried steak or steak Milanese. The steak was tender, juicy and infused with just the right amount of aromatic garlic flavor. The light bread coating gave it a beautiful caramel brown finish and absorbed some of the steak juices as a bonus. The rice was fluffy and a hefty portion at that. The salad was fresh and crisp. Their vinaigrette is reminiscent of a red wine vinegar and oil mix, tangy but not overwhelming. Thumbs up, way up! more

love this place 3/23/2009

This place is excellent. Lomo saltado is superb, the waiters are Cheesy, but it's worth the hassle more

Fabulous and reasonably priced Peruvian meal 2/12/2008

I tried this restaurant just the other night and let me tell you, when you're in the mood for some good home cooking...try this place! My friend and I first started off with the beef empanadas for an appetizer. AMAZING! And whatever the sauce was that came with them-YUMMY! You could drink it with a straw! For dinner, I tried the Ajiaco de Carne was superb-very homemade tasting. But wait!!! DO NOT STOP AT DINNER! They have one of the best desserts I've ever had-the Sweets Francesca. It is a fried plantain wrapped in a crepe with a thick dulce de leche sauce on top and served with a scoop of Peruvian icecream. My friend and I shared this but wished we would have got our own. So please do not pass this restaurant up if you've never tried it. Pros: THE FOOD OF COURSE! Cons: You can't stop eating! more
