I go to India's a couple of times a month, and I like it. Not it's not the most authentic Indian food, and it could use some more spices to kick it up a bit, but all in all, the food is really good. Considering the price, it's a good value relative to the other Indian restaurants around. Sure you can go to Kiran's, BB Place, Ashiani; but your going to pay 1 to 2 times the price (or more) and get a much nicer setting. Service at ALL Indian restaurants is POOR, bar none!! Kiran's is one of the best and most expensive, but the service is horrible!!!
Much better food can be found off Hillcroft around the SW Freeway, but most of the places have never heard the word HYGIENE, and certain don't practice cleanliness. Every time I eat in around that area, I just block it out of my mind and NEVER EVER go to the restrooms, or you?ll never go back.
The bottom-line is simple: Good Food, Clean, Fair Service, and reasonably priced. So I continue to go back.
I'm not trying to be critical or ugly, but face it, most Indians are very cost conscious and they always think prices are too high. I have many Indian friends and they are all very frugal. Immigrants and their next generations are just that way; trust me, I'm Italian and we're the exact same. So when one of my Indian friends tells me ?they are kind of expensive? I take it with a grain of salt. Besides, I?d much rather eat in their homes than go to a restaurant.
BTW-Their buffet price is in-line with most other Indian restaurants in town.
Pros: Clean, Good Food, Reasonable Prices
Cons: Parking, Could use more Spices
