Best

It is the best fast food place. They only have burgers, fries and shakes but with how good it is who needs more. They do however have items that are not shown on the menu such as ...

Worst

In-n-out has the worst fries this side of the Mississippi. The fries are dry and have no flavor. They should make a deal with McDonald's to sell their fries with In-n-Out burgers...

Manna from the heavens 8/8/2002

Any restaurant that fresh-slices their potatoes and cooks them right in front of you, has a product they're proud of. With good reason. Ronald McWho? more

Best fast-food fries: bar none 8/5/2002

I'm what some might call a fast-food junkie. I've tried all the fast-food places around Costa Mesa and Irvine (down here below the Orange Curtain known as Orange County)...regardless of how many different places I try, none serve better french fries than In-n-Out. I used to swear by Mickey D's fries...and still enjoy them from time to time. But after trying In-n-Out's fries for the first time many years ago, I became a devoted convert. In fact, when I moved to In-n-Out-bereft New Hampshire 11 years ago, I started having dreams about their fries (and their Double Double). So much so that when I moved back here in 1997, the first fast food place I hit was In-n-Out. All other fries are pretenders to the throne: In-n-Out french fries rule as Best Fast-Food Fries. Bar None. more

The Best only for the Best 8/4/2002

Truelly a Californian classic. For all of those moving out of state, just remember, White Castle is definately NOT In-n-Out. more

talkin about speed 7/30/2002

well, i've been hearing all these compliments about this place, but never tried it until today. The place is nice and has an classy american feeling (oldies). The food was delicious. The burgers tasted sooooo different. They had a simple menu, but the food was worth the try. They had very fresh fries. You actually see them slicing and peeling it. It's definitetly worth a try. more

Best Cali Stand! 7/29/2002

Simple menu, burgers, fries, shakes and soft drinks. And that's it. But the absolute best! Fresh, never frozen beef and potatoes. Hand-leafed lettuce. Grilled onions. Yummmmy. more

Double Double Heaven 7/28/2002

A friend who used to live in Cali. tipped me off to this place. If I had a franchise here in New Jersey I'd be a jillionaire. This place gives new meaning to burgers, fries and shakes. I had an exchange student with me when I was in Cali. for a week and this is the only place she wanted to eat. It's a place that is best experienced than described. Go. If you don't like it, you didn't spend a lot of money. If you do like it, you'll go back home and preach the gospel of In-N-Out. Pros: Good food, Good prices Cons: Hmm, noisy kids?, Limited menu more

#1! 7/26/2002

The best! It's original and not fake tasting. Fries are made while you watch! Pros: ORIGINAL, not fake tasting Cons: not enough seating more

No Doubt it's In and Out 7/25/2002

burgers for breakfast. mmmm.. :) 7/19/2002

I love a nice triple decker burger (animal style) for breakfast. Its awesome with a nice milk shake and an extra side of delicious onions. Oh, and don't forget to get the bread toasted. This beats eggs and pancakes any day! more

The One and Only 6/27/2002

We've all heard of In-N-Out. My review here isn't going to change your mind, but this particular one has impressed me often enough to mention it. The servcie is fast, and the burgers are always cooked exactly right. The fries and always hot and tasty. I can't say that about all In-N-Outs, but I can about this one. more

Scrumptous 6/12/2002

This place is the original in-n-out and certainly the best. It's known for it's tasty burger, shakes, and fries. In-n-Out will make your burger anyway you like it. The voices of the staff is friendly and always outgoing, you can tell they are having fun at this job! Be prepared for the crowds though, this place is always busy!! more

Animal Style 5/22/2002

I think its safe to say that everybody's heard of getting their burgers animal style, right? Well have you ever heard of whole gilled onions? That's the whole onion slice grilled. What about protein style? No buns. If you go to the location off of Barranca in Covina you can get your fries animal style. Thats fries covered in chese and grilled onions. There you have it. Oh there's also a neat little message on the bottom of their cups. Pros: Everything Cons: Crowded more

Great burgers and fries 5/20/2002

i haven't been to this location. but i have checked out locations in Glendale, Burbank, Hollywood and Scottsdale, AZ. All of them have been good. The ingredients are fresh and the fries are crispy. My only complaint, most of the locations I've been to are insanely busy. Expect to wait 10 to 15 minutes in the drive thru -- I guess that's a great testament to the food. Pros: fresh ingredients Cons: crowded more
