Imperial Pools

Noel of Imperial pools quoted me a price of $285, or course w/o chemicals included and if any other problems were noted. He came out to check the pump and charged me which I assumed was included with closing. Part of the pump was having an issue and I agreed to replace that - he quoted me "approx. $85" plus labor. The actual price of this piece was a fair amout over $100 plus numerous more labor charges. Also the things he listed in his invoice after the fact - like replacing the ladders for the pool into their spots etc. was NOT done. The ladders were sitting on the deck ! The invoice also had $365+ listed just for the closing which was quite a bit more than he quoted me. I called him and he seemed not too interested in the facts and our total bill was over $700 !! Close to $300 for the origianal estimate then all the way up to $700 instead seems very misleading to me. I feel that he mislead me and way overcharged me and really did not seem to care in the least. We have been customers for years but I really don't feel like we will be in the future. I understand the part replaced and that labor but many charges were "listed" with out much explanation. Even $500 would have been semi-resonalbe but I feel totally taken advantage of by this man. We have been through 5 pool maintenance and service providers in central Illinois with various degrees of dissatisfaction attended toeach, except Imperial Pools . Beyond all doubt Imperial Pools is superior to ALL in terms of knowledge, skill, timlieness, billing and overall customer service. Whenever I have needed major work or a solution to an insolvable pool problem, Noel the owner of Imperial Pools has always done an excellent job and done it quickly. They have fixed my defective salwater system, installed a new vinyl liner, fixed and reinstalled an automatic pool cover, repaired pumps and heaters, They have come out =after sunset to fulfill a service delivery promise, donned scuba gear to discover what would have been an impossible to discover source of a water leak, and given me complete and helpful explanations of the causes of problems and advice on how to manage the pool that make me a better pool operator. I now use Imperial Pools for my routine opening and closings as well. They may not be the least expensive pool service provides but for the quality of their performance Imperial Pools is a bargain! I have recommended them to every pool owner I know. more

We needed to have the liner in our above ground pool replaced. Noel and his team came within 2 days of my phone call to access the liner. Within a week the new liner had arrived and was ready to install. Due to circumstances beyond my control we had to delay the installation and Noel and his team were understanding and came back to install it within a few days of my phone call to tell them I was ready to have the work done. Very efficient, liner looks great. Noel is very quick to respond to my emails with questions about my pool; and answers my quesions so I understand what needs to be done. I would definetly recommend Imperial Pools. more

The guy from Imperial Pools drove out an hour to see me, and I appreciated that. It wasn't a tough job. I just needed to have someone look at my control panel, and he was the best available person. I needed them out here quick, he made the trip out quick, and made a few adjustments to my control panel. He told me what I needed to do to get it fixed, and it was fine. more

Imperial Pools Inc. provided great service. They were quick and very knowledgeable. They fixed my problem that had been going on for a very long time within two days. I had some pool water and salt chlorine issues. They were actually fixing someone else's problem. more

This was our first time using Imperial Pools Inc. and we could not be happier. We had some issues with our pool and had a bad experience with another company. When he came out he knew exactly what the issue was and was extremely knowledgeable. Anytime I have contacted them, they are extremely responsive and professional. They are a little more expensive than other companies but you get what you pay for. It is definitely worth it to pay a little more and have it fixed right the first time. Also, I have not worked with a pool contractor who backed up what they said they were going to do. Noel is very knowledgeable and cares about the service and the product he provides to his customers. I contacted Imperial Pools about installing a new liner in our very old pool. Imperial Pool had done work for 3 of our neighbors and they highly recommend them. MrValade came to see our pool, took some measurements, and promptly got back with us with an estimate. When the liner arrived, he scheduled a time to install it. He and his crew came when they said they would, did the work as they said they would do, and came in right at his estimate. He and his crew are hard working men and do as they say they will do. I would recommend Imperial Pools anytime. Our experience with them was very pleasant. more

I called Imperial Pools Inc. and once they arrived, they did a fabulous job. They uncovered my pool for the summer, and did a good job with that. However, there was one odd thing they did, and that was they wanted to come at seven in the morning. I agreed to that, but then they didn't come until a half-hour later. I just thought it was odd since they suggested coming that early, and then they arrived late instead. more

I'd definitely recommend Imperial Pools. There are a bunch of lame pool people in our town, and Noel has been great. He's done the opening and closing for our pool. When the old liner got torn up, he came out and showed us some new ones, then put that in. He is timely, does a great job, and is very neat and tidy. more

He sometimes can run into scheduling conflicts when scheduling opening/closing of the pool during his busy season, but he keeps us informed of any changes or delays.
