50 minute massage by Kate 4/10/2011

The deep tissue massage by Kate was outstanding. It provided a one hour escape from the stresses of life! I think I will go for the 80 minute massage next time. Keep up the good work. more

Hair color and cut 4/9/2011

I have been going to Ihloff on S. Memorial for approximately one year. They have consistently provided excellent service. It is a great place to feel pampered with the coffee and lime water served to you, along with a complimentary hand massage. Also, the condition of my hair has improved significantly within the past year! more

Hair appointment with Steven Hoyt 4/7/2011

As always, Steven did a great job on my hair. Beautiful color and cut. However, the reason I keep going to Steven is not just a great style, but also his personality. He's very warm, funny and a pleasure to be around. As always, a treat! Thanks! more

Everytime I am always extremely tense and nervous when I get a massage. Kate did a great job of relaxing me and making the massage enjoyable. As well she did an outstanding job and loosing up my shoulder which I have constant issues with. I hope to be able to schedule with her again! more

I get my hair done by Mindy at the Memorial location. She not only is she funny, sweet,and adorable but she is a fantastic stylist. I adore her! In fact everyone I have dealt with at the Memorial location has been professional, helpful and terrific. more

Great Style and Cut 4/3/2011

I saw Amanda at the South Memorial location. I wanted a big change, and cut off about 7 inches. I am thrilled not only with the haircut but also with the approach Amanda took in being helpful in figuring out exactly what I wanted. Great place! more

Not for women of COLOR 4/3/2011

I received a gift card for Ihloff and thought I'd for-go the typical massage or pedicure. I hadn't been to a hair salon since I moved here so I really wanted to get my hair done. I went into Ihloff to make my appointment so they could see I was a woman of color. Two weeks later, I arrived confident they could do my hair since I'd been in to make the appointment in person. FOUR HOURS & OVER 100 BUCKS LATER, I emerged looking the same. Yes my hair was silky and straight, but the color I requested was no where to be found. I even took a picture with me to show the stylist what I wanted. It wasn't anything drastic, I could have even gotten a home coloring kit and did it myself, but again I wanted to treat myself. Word to the wise, stick to a massage...leave the rest to Miss Clairol!! more

Nice but too expensive 4/3/2011

I love getting my hair done at Aveda but it is getting too expensive so I might have to start looking for another salon. I got a basic cut and highlights and it ran my close to $200! Also, they came around while I was getting my hair cut to re-schedule my next appointment. I told them I would call in, and they really pushed for my to schedule it now - it was uncomfortable. more

great salon 4/1/2011

Kate is my colorist and haircutter. she is always pleasant, professional and the result is excellent. it is expensive, but i allow myself the luxury. the results seem to get better and better. my latest coloring and haircut are awesome. i look better than i could have imagined more

Great experience as usual. The staff is so friendly and accomodating. I did have to purchase a larger bottle of shampoo than I wanted because they didn't have the smaller size in stock, but it is something I will use. more

My husband bought my the Valentine's Day package. It was an hour massage, steam shower, champagne, and a wonderful pedi! I lived every minute of it! I was there almost 3 hours and did not want to leave!! more

Top of the Line Salon 3/29/2011

I would highly recommend this salon. The staff is attentive and very good at what they do. My daughter came in for a hair color correction and they performed a miracle! Nicole is the best in my opinion and I would recommend this salon to anyone who wants a superb cut and color. Thank you! more

I just want everyone to know what a great job Janell did on my hair at the salon. She is a professional in every sense of the word! She took so much time with every strand of hair to give me the BEST color job I have ever had in my entire life! She told me that she loves to do color and it really shows in how she does it. Before she started, we talked about what I wanted and what she wanted to use on me and it was excellent! She also gave me a fresh new look with my haircut. I was so discouraged with my hair when I went in the salon, that I pretty much gave her full control of the situation and she was awesome! more
